you should get some ring pliers for that
smooth jaws don't mar, and they're (usually) easier on the tiny stout rings like that.

Actually, mine are p ugly things i made out of old needle-nose pliers, but i'm sure there are better options.

i know im working on getting some smooth jaws no luck yet and its Al sadly lol im make my rings working with what i have at the moment http://eddiecroft.deviantart.com/ thats my other website if interested :3
