It is sometimes strange to see how your own mind can work, occasionally against your own wishes. It may be one of the few things we can control in this life but the resistance we get from it can sometimes be surprising. As you say writing or any other kind of expression can be a healthy outlet at times.
On another note I find myself looking forward to Thursdays and your prompt challenges now, thanks.

Very touching; ive lots friends to car accidents and cancer, so i keep similar emotions very close to my heart. I think the most touching part to me was when the bowl was left full; there aren't really words to describe it, but i understand that feeling. Thanks for sharing!
To me writing is the same whether is intensely personal or totally abstract. You’re opening yourself up to criticism and the scrutiny of strangers. Any story submitted to be read by complete strangers in a work of courage as well as anything else that gets put into the mix.
Thanks again, and its good to see someone with the endurance to go through all the old prompts as you seem to be doing.
