My first ever moku hanga style print with a slightly updated Ukow-e design. I did 8 prints of just the lines on 2 different kinds of paper, a thicker cream and a thinner white one.

It's pretty much the same carving progress. Traditionally the lines are carved with the knife rather than a v-gouge but it can be personal preference there. Printing though is done by sumi ink or watercolor inks and rubbing the paper on top of it with a handheld barren. That's the basic jist of it without getting into annoying details. :D

I see, but here in costa rica is pretty hard to find sumi ink or watercolor ink hahahaha
