Very intriguing thought to be sure. I think a couple/few more shorts about Scottish/English legends would do well, she's definitely an endearing character from my point of view. As far as rhyming, it might be better saved for narration and/or important lines. And Billy Connolly did a great job in the Ballad, it'd be cool to hear him narrate more of it.
It also begs the question of if this happened, would Nessie be given actual speaking lines? If so, who'd do her voice?
