Lovely piece! The face is somewhat youngish. I thought at first it was just a "child" filly. But the tail is adultish. Now that I look at it again, I think it's the lack of a mane that gives it that young look.

Looks like you ought to put a quarter in it for a 30 second ride. Actually, I have seen wooden model cars, but they're assembled from pieces and not quite the same as a sculpture. In fact, they can look rather like a plastic model kit with wood grain.

"is made popular" -- Of course it is made popular, it looks very well done. But... the wood is poplar. So... the horse made of poplar is made popular by the sculptor
