Shot this one of our cat Trixie while I was experimenting with flash settings. This is the first photo I have posted that utilizes an external flash, in this case a Canon 430EXII, bounced off the ceiling and wall to my left rear under full manual camera control, and TTL flash.

The funny thing is, her fur actually changes texture a LOT depending on the location. Her belly and around her neck is amazingly, silky soft. Down her back and on her rear flanks it's a lot rougher, almost dog-fur like. She's an absolute sucker for attention, she'll lay there just as long as you'll keep paying attention to her. xD
