thats not a really good idea for leaving the way it is, they run on differant fuel, If you dont have it tuned right to the US humidity air condision and fuel type, you will end up recking your engin and a month or so, it happens alot here with new guys buying them stright from japan without getting them retuned.

You have to be able to disgtinguish between "tuner" and "ricer," the same model car can be popular among both groups, such as the Honda Civic here in America. The tuner concerns himself with the engine, the ricer concerns himself with the paintjob. The ricer will install neon tubes in his engine compartment before even keying the sparkplugs. The ricer may not and probably doesn't even understand how his engine works.
Honda understands the difference, which is why they've introduced the new Fit. Instead of having just a tuner model, the Civic, they now have their new tuner model, the Fit, and the Civic is their "ricer model."
Interesting fing: In some markets the Fit is available with a factory dry sump. You could make a fit dunebuggy if you wanted.

Well, if they're doing it to reduce pressure in their exhaust manifolds that's great, but most exhaust mods are done for the sole extent of making the car louder. Wish they'd ban the fart cans here too, but I can imagine the lawmakers have no idea how cars work.

Yeah, V6s and V8s. You don't find the V8s on sedans anymore, except maybe the new RWD Dodges, (sold under the Chrysler marque everywhere else in the world.) It's not too hard to find a nice American car with a straight-four, my mother's Chevrolet had one, but I don't think there are any American straight-sixes in production, nor any even any import models with them.

the exhost ban is bull sh**, it came around thanks to those dick head boy racers rallying around inthe estates at all hours of the morning waking people up and intimadating elderly drivers with there constant reving, if its attached propperly the noise dosent increse that mutch eg, mine, its a free breather back box, the rest of the system is still standered, and its only a little louder and everyone likes how it shounds, or most anyway XD grandperants dont tipicly, it has low deep rumble and a deep burble at 5,6000 rpm.
What the little dickheads are doing is bying a back box with no noise reduser in it and welding onto a steel pip that is connected directly to the flexy pip and nothing to reduse the sound, so basicly there going around with no exhost system and the worst think is there mostly nissan micras, corsa's, puntos and the liks XD not properly tuned or dressed, we call them scanngers XD
