Fishes, hamsters, rats... I used to own pets in cages and tanks, but I always felt a bit sad about it because, despite all the love and care I gave them, I could never tell if they were really happy.

I can sympathize. It would be nice to be able to communicate with a pet in some way and know what they feel.
Anyway, those glowing alien fish are pretty adorable. Little floating night lights. They can replace fireflies in jars any day.
I want that lamp, by the way.
