NOT MINE!!!!!!! I didn't do this.
I want to ask if anyone has any info on this, who drew this, if it's still posted on any websites, etc? I'm assuming the figure in the background is the famous Rogue.
When I was younger I had a habit of printing pictures that I really felt an especially strong emotional connection to, since we all shared one computer and only had a certain amount of time on it each. Printing them out helped me enjoy them long after computer time had ended. This was one of them. If I remember correctly this was on some obscure furry print website.
This picture caused me a great deal of pain, since in those days I was suffering a lot of emotional turmoil and depression, and my long thorough searches for friendly macro art almost always turned up nothing. It also caused a great deal of jealousy. I wished I had been the one to draw it, so much so that at times it pained me that I hadn't. I was that way back then. I hadn't yet developed my own style, and every furry artist seemed vastly more talented.
But at the same time I loved it. I could really look at it and feel what the people felt. I could relate to their hopelessness. Looking at it though, I liked to imagine that all the villagers had made it to safety, but other than those in the foreground that most likely wasn't the case.
