SASKATOON HAT TRICK: Baric (17) - Tushenko (7), Dgeordgevich (18)
-Bojan Baric is probably the hottest player in the league right now, with back-to-back hat tricks.
-Yeah and let's not forget about the defense either, not too often a team holds the cosmonauts to just two goals.

-Lexington had a chance to tie for first in the east here but Hamilton really put their foot down and showed that they are the league's elite team.
-Well granted Kristopher Larsson wasn't 100% in this one and even at 150% the Wanderers are a tall task. Commendable performance from both teams.

-Green Bay got a lot of help from both Erie and Bridgeport losing on this night, but they couldn't help themselves with a win.
-Well Victoria's got their own playoff hopes to keep alive, and they did so wonderfully here. Hard to focus on a game when they're watching the scoreboard for SPD-HTC but they did so just fine here.[/i]

ERIE GOAL: Bigelow (13) - Snowe (7), Lehtinen (21)
-What is going on in Erie?! The team that seemed to be coasting towards the playoffs before can't seem to even buy a win now. A valiant effort by a crippled Tail Storm squad, but you're not going to win many games with your starting center and goaltender on the bench.
-Meanwhile, Jacksonville showing a lot of heart for team whose season is all but done. Erie had no answer for Antero Ansikorpi's presence as both an offensive threat and defensive menace.

-That's how you beat the Highrollers: slow down the pace and keep the game defensive. Disciplined game from start to finish for both teams.
-Props to both goaltenders, too. Fans were treated to a puck-stopping circus on both sides of the rink.

BRIDGEPORT GOAL: Andreev (12) - Turunen (26), Delucci (13)
-Bridgeport has fallen into their worst slump of the season, and at the worst possible time, too. Locked in a battle with Green Bay and Erie for that last playoff spot, these last two games are gonna be do-or-die.
-Meanwhile, Portland cements their place as division champs this year. There was a lot of protest when the All-Star nominations snubbed Paul Shepherd, and he's showing just why. He may be a dark horse for the MVP award this year, but he's been building a strong case for himself.
