I've always believed it so.
As in the old saying (Maude): "God will get you for that!"
Or if God takes too long (He has forever; I might not be able to wait that long):
"Don't get mad, get even".
(However long it may take). It's all the more brilliant when they think they're clear, and never see it coming.......

No amount of "self repair" is going undo what kind of an asshole Brice was.
He may have attempted to redeem himself, but then that was ONLY after "Daddy couldn't fix things" as always.
Just like listening to people convicted in court going on about how sorry they are about what they did. What they're sorry about is they got caught.

*sings along with Warren Zevon*
I went home with the waitress
The way I always do
How was I to know
She was with the
Russians, too?
I was gambling in Havana
I took a little risk
Send lawyers, guns and money
Dad, get me out of this, hyeah
I'm the innocent bystander
Somehow I got stuck
Between the rock
and a hard place
And I'm down on my luck
Yes I'm down on my luck
Well I'm down on my luck
I went home with the waitress

Antique urinal.
Sort of like this one: http://www.thestranger.com/binary/6.....matturinal.png
Though in the SLOP universe, these tall style giant urinals never went out of style because they accommodate a wide height range of critters from four foot four inch critters like Brice to the larger bovines that can be seven foot five. There are some other considerations about physiology I took into account and the antique style urinal seemed to be the best generic, one size and shape fits all kind of shape.

Indeed, and those needs include retromingent species such as the felids. Hard to use a raised urinal mounted halfway up the wall when you have to turn around, lift your tail and squat.
I also figured that in SLOP you'd see less of the pillar toilets we're used to in our comfortable Western World. Most species would have an easier time with squat toilets like what you see in Eastern Europe and Asia.

Now with the new and improved splash guard to keep from pissing on your feet.

I wouldn't totally write him off just yet; he's shown a remarkable ability to survive, and might just turn his life around. Or not. But I've seen a lot of worse people not get dead.
So many people........ So little Soylent Green........
So many people who deserve to be Soylent Green........

Well, drat.
No, not five years, more like six months ... when I read those pages five years ago (good heavens, was it that long ago? I suppose it was ...) I was under the impression that Tony had raped and killed him offscreen.
Obviously I was wrong, and I realized that several posts before, but I think it finally caught up to me that you'd intended the reader to know he hadn't.
Drat, drat, drat. I'm not sure why I got that wrong impression, though, I suppose I'll need to go back and reread that arc but I can't promise I'll be able to reconstruct the error modality. It was, as you say, five years thence.
Cheers,
