yes this happens when you treat them like a person and not a pet.
there is a limit to how you treat them..
there is this incident in Canada I think of a Husky killing a new born Baby because the couples first "Baby" was the dog. Personally I would have broken the Dog's Neck myself. Pets should know there place.
