Painting I did in 2010 for Portfolio class. Assignment was to make a piece based off of something in art history. I chose color fields, abstract expressionism, post-painterly expression, etc. as a starting point (especially "Vir Heroicus Sublimis" by Barnett Newman, OMG). Gave my own take on it, with slightly more focus on texture.
