As the name suggests, I decided to have an impromptu drawing binge today, to comb a better understanding of anatomy and form, and to also improve my skills a little bit more.
I've never been a line artist, but I love colour. With that in mind I went down a road less traveled compared to the traditionally Cel-shaded work on the site, and adopted a more abstract painting method.
First on the menu is a chance to try out the hyper ripped muscular look made famous by a few of my favourite artists, stagor55 in particular was a big inspiration!
A rather fine looking reptile has flexed quite the Bicep for us. This was a lot of fun to work on, especially painting with the saturated lime colours. A tiny bit unsure on the pose. Inspired by the work of

Our friend Lizard the Lizard admires the diffuse blur in his Scaly Bicep, thinking to himself, "Well done me!"
