Yeah most of my geckos are really docile :) She's one of the most calm, just kinda hangs around like "ehh whateverrr" when I give her weird props

Out of all the pictures I've seen of geckos, (and its a lot, I like reptiles ^_^), you're the only photographer that manages to show them as cute as they are.

I sold my crested gecko because he was a high upkeep, but my goodness, Taquito IS a cutie pie.

High upkeep? Really? o__o I only spent $60 to feed 11 geckos for a year, and they require a lot less care than mah cats!

Yeah! D: He pooped a lot, but we fed him crickets.

They're mostly frugivorous, they're supposed to eat mostly fruit-based foods. :/

Well, I go outside, track up some crickets, catch them. And give them to my gecko :3

:( That's really not a great idea - outside crickets could possibly have been sprayed with any kind of chemical (lawn growth stuff, or pesticides), and they can have parasites that can be passed on to your gecko.

I dunno... I catch them in the "wild"...

People still spray stuff in the "wild," and toxins travel pretty easily too (bird eats sprayed bug, craps elsewhere, cricket eats crap - crickets eat EVERYthing X___x )

And the "wild" is a great place to get parasites :(

Just reconsider feeding your animals wild-caught critters... it's usually best to order them from a cricket-seller, a trustworthy pet store (I have several in my area and two don't get my business), or you can raise them yourself, but they stink.

"Clean" has nothing to do with parasites. Parasites occur fairly regularly in outside-caught crickets - it's a part of nature. Unfortunately a few of those parasites can be detrimental to the health of your geckos.
