The reason i first watched you was because of our anime style of art. I love anime and your art totally shows the greatness of it all. Your characters show so much personality when I look at them and they all look like they can each tell a story. I was originally drawn to you through your comic of the little dragon that aspired to be a mail courier. That character was a joy to look at, but i was really captivated at the background; it looked like a complete story was there just waiting to be told. I never post anything, so this would be my first. I post this because of all the artists that I come here to see, you are my favorite. Please don't give up!

I came across your work a while before I made an account here, and I find the flair it has very appealing. The faces in particular. The implied "situations" in some of your work is what I'm guessing made many people watch in the first place and not for the actual work you put out, regardless of how good it feels on the eyes.
As a result these random watchers hoping to get their fix would eventually get disappointed in the lack of more adult focused material. In an effort to avoid being spammed with something they are not interested in they would cease watching someone to keep from being over spammed in their inbox. As I noticed that it fills up quickly myself. These same watchers I would say hold no real value and are just people with a passing interest in what might come in at some point, (porn basically) and not receiving it decide to stop watching entirely.
I really like the work that you release as I am sure most of the people posting here would claim the same.
Far as I know you haven't made a single offensive action to warrant legitimate watchers leaving so the ones who are, are irrelevant.
Keep doing what you're doing! We absolutely love it!

Oh and you're art is the first I was very upset about losing recently when I lost all my clean furry stuff.

You used to be my absolute favorite artist on here. Your gift commission is the best piece in my entire gallery, and will probably stay that way for a long while. If you think for a sec your art is bad, just do a random search on fa. 9/10 your art is better. Not an objective standpoint, just plain and simple. You've spent years perfecting your craft, and you are still improving. That is the mark of someone who is passionate, one who keeps finding ways to move forward.

If you feel you aren't improving, you just need to find that passion again. go back to when you started. With the crap you started with, why did you want to continue? It took you 7-8 years to bring you to this picture, why didn't you stop along the way? Why wasn't four years ago good enough, and still wanted to improve?

I'm positive you've been in this situation before. Look back to those times. What made you feel that way? How did you react? What made you want to change? And how did you make this change?

You are a great friend, an inspiring mentor, and a terrific artist. What is a few unwatches compared to the ～2000 you have? You have recognition many artist can only dream of having on here.

I understand being in a slump, I'm in one too. Sometimes it's hard when you feel taken for granted... like all you do is try to make the ones you care for smile and then those times come that you wish they would try just a little harder to do the same for you. Often, I just watch an artist that I like, and that's it.

I respect some artists' "comment before you fav" policy, which means that I usually wouldn't fav an art until I've made at least one comment on that art. That, unfortunately, also means that I did not get to fav some of the most fantastic works of art I've seen around DA and FA. To me, merely able to watch a favorite artist's page is already enough.

In regards to unwatches, I rarely unwatch people. Even if that artist has left DA or FA. Because, just in case if they decided to change their minds and return to DA or FA in the future.

Oh, and cheer up, buddy. =) I've always enjoyed looking at your art, even if I don't know what to comment. You have hundreds of other fans, too, who genuinely care about you and your art.

Teach, I know how you feel about your art. How it just doesn't seem right when you draw it and how you just can't feel if it's right or not. I also know how you feel about friends. I don't know the reasons why they are angry, but have no fear, whenever something down, I'll always have something to pick me up, whether it's friends or family or others, You'll always have something that'll pick you right back up.

As I said before and others did as well, you’ve a really unique style so that wouldn’t be the reason.
Now I do want to look at things from both sides so what I see some times is that people leave FA for personal reasons. Or they nuke their page. Possibly also because people change accounts and forget to rewatch you again. And than there’s the glitch that kwratster was talking about. All kinds of things that just happen, it has nothing to do with you.
Also sorry that I haven’t done much for the 3d model, right now I still have to do a lot for school. Once I get more free time I’ll continue working on that model again.

i cannot say for people hating you for no reason, maybe you make the wrong friends, but out of experience you should take people watching and unwatching you with a grain of salt. they come and go and what really matters is the people that stay loyal to you, no? that and if someone goes, there's always someone new to come and appreciate your work.
the simplest way to put it is "people come and go", maybe the other way around in this case.
but your art is fine, it's not going downhill, but we all are living and breathing beings that sometimes have a bit of a slump where our artistic output may suffer from a bit from. don't feel obligated to draw 100% perfect things all the time, you are supposed to have fun. :)

Yeah, it sucks when people watch you and don't bother to comment or even fave your work. Then, some time down the road they unwatch you because they probably didn't know why they did in the first place (trust me, I've been there). But, you should focus on the people who are really your firends. The ones who comment and/or fave your stuff every time you post something, the people who constantly leave shouts on your page, and anything else to show they really like your sutff and see something in you. They are the people who really matter most, it's just up to you to determine that. I'm not saying it's wrong to have a ton of watchers, it's just you don't need to let that bother you.

I know you're prolly over your slump, but I thought I'd try and give you some advice at least. You have an amazing talent for kemono that would kill to have, but I don't, yet I still try to do it anyway.
