Awww.. One of my friends has a leonberger. Sweetest dog I've ever met, and also the BIGGEST. Never once felt scared around her though, she's just a big, quiet dog that's happy to be around people. It's sad how short lived they are though. :(

I once had to shove most of my arm into Buddy's mouth because he was literally eating huge chunks of Sinta's tennis ball. I didn't worry about getting bitten even for a moment. *sad smile*
I really love the breed, but their short lives are a reason enough not to consider having one myself. I feel much better about Sinta's estimated 14 years...
