Keke, I just love how cute, cuddly, and playful you make Sabre in the young, chibi style! His large, innocent eyes are so adorable! Giving him yellow pawpads was also an interesting touch! I think that's the first time he's ever been depicted like that, and I think it looks really cute! He looks like he would make a good plushie! ^.=.^
Another interesting touch is his long, yellow tongue, which almost looks sticky as it sticks to the bottom of the "B" in his name. It almost reminds me of Yoshi's sticky tongue! My character's tongue colour is something I guess I haven't put too much thought into yet. Yellow is definitely an interesting colour choice though! I love how you titled the commission "Licks" as well, as who wouldn't want some from such a cute little guy with outstretched paws, keke!
Once again, I think your lighting and shading is spectacular! You definitely have the artist's eye for where it is all supposed to go, and how to make it look natural. All of the little details - from the shading on his little horn stubs, to the lighting on his bright, yellow scales and pawpads, as well as the shading on his cute face - all look fantastic, and really help make him look more 3D as he appears to jump out at the viewer.
It's always an interesting and challenging pose to have a dragon looking directly at the viewer in portrait view too. I think you pulled this off quite well! I also like how you did his friendly and inviting eyeridges! His little studded collar is also adorably cute! Good call with the green colouring of the letters of his name too! Green is one of my favourite colours!
Thanks very much for doing such a good job Sylo! You rock! -.=.^

Many artists are very grateful for long, thought-out responses like this I've found. After they have spent hours and hours on a piece of work sometimes, often all they want is for people to take a good, thorough look at it, and tell them all the parts that they liked. This is what I try to do; as a way of showing my appreciation for the artist's efforts! ^.=.^
