I love dragons...most designs are just too epic-looking!
This is an Eastern Dragon with four fingers (I heard five fingered ones are Godlike) and no power orb...still looks awesome.

I have very little knowledge on dragons >_<
I should read up on them sometime :x

Some Eastern creatures are having "extra body parts" as they are more powerful from the "normal" versions of them. A good example is the Nine-tailed Fox (See Naruto for anime reference) which is a trickster spirit. It can have less tails then nine, but it's powers are weaker too. The nine-tailed fox are almost Godlike creatures.
As for the Eastern Dragons: Some of them are holding Orbs of Power (Anime reference is Dragon BallZ), but it1s important to see if they are holding it with 3-4-or-5 fingers...Usually it has 4 fingers, since a 5 fingered Eastern Dragon is Godlike too...
I think these little details give the originality to the Eastern culture as far as creatures goes, and I find it very interesting and cool.

There are many Original (dragon) Characters, who have fur on their body, however the only real furred dragon type is the Luck Dragon. The most famous Luck Dragon must be Falkor, from The Neverending Stroy...

Actually, it is real and has the good design to live in real.
A lip is needed for speaking language though I prefer cuter style.

I think I can learn a lot from real things with keeping the designs of my characters.^^
