A region of the Grandline that seldom many ships cross if they were to stray from any log pose path. Their ship was torn from the sea by one of the many deadly typhoons that plague the Grandline. But the industrial strength mining cargo ship their stolen vessel used to be. could barely stay intact if it was not for Wednesday's full concentration with her magnetic powers. The ship survived and was found in a new region yet unexplored.

A land in a sea of white. The crew had been scattered across a small country with long road paved in gold. An Island over the rainbow of Valhalla's gate. The land of Oz. Each division of the crew landed in parts where some met strange new people. The Fabulous captain Leroy the Honey Badger, and his assistant Enrique the stereotype. Met a man made of straw, held upon a post by a series of explosive bonds securing him in place. Requesting the crow feathers to free him the Captain released a man soon to be recognized as the most dangerous he would ever encounter.

The Scarecrow was Jonathan "9-lives" Breck, a man notorious for being dangerous due to his high body count and a rumor of being a man who cannot die for he controls the will of the Reaper. A dangerous shade of a man who was known to travel alone. Due to dealings to and with many parties, he found himself under the employ of Eugene Rockafeller. Rising industrial ship entrepreneur and rich monopolizing tycoon of the world government trade. working under a division among other pirates and bounty hunters under Rockafeller's secret executive board, Jonathan was paired with a partner and were relegated as corporate espionage. Shadows who could find their way into any building to steal or destroy items, information, or people under their boss's competition. One such target led them to the land of Oz where the two great controlling powers of the land had incapacitated them before they could anticipate.

Jonathan's mind had been wiped clean, left a shell, a husk of barely an idea of what he is. His powers assuming the form of a basic shaped idea of a human being similar to that of a scarecrow made of straw. Only functioning with knowledge of how his power functions and to be alive and responsive. The Amnesiac followed The crew members in hopes the Wizard of the land would fix him. All the while functioning only on instinct. Stealing bits of personal items of people he passed by. disappearing and reappearing whenever he so chose.

When they had defeated the Witch as per requested of the Wizard. The Crew realized the true identity of the all powerful being was a Billy Nye. A famous genius mind who's scientific discoveries had lead to him being first to claim many exploitable resources and improvements in technology in the world. He was interested in the Sky Island's secret Dial technology that the Witches of Oz possessed. When Billy Nye began to feel the demands of the crew were to many to consider. He opted to offer them at least a chance at two knew devil fruits for their crew to have. He obliged and decided that his work be undone and to leave no witnesses of his work as he granted the memories back to the three they had found in Oz, including Jonathan.

The Scarecrow turned on them demonstrating his full controls of his powers to transfer any blow dealt to him to a victim on the island he possessed a personal item from. Including items from some of the crew. many lives were sacrificed across the country of Oz as a result of taking down the Voodoo man of straw. Obliterating his hay to the wind and setting it a fire, it seemed his powers had run out. But a Voodoo doll remained in one of the cargo bins of the Patrone ship.

It was placed on the ship by a man under the same employ who had seen Eugene's stolen cargo ship. One of his subordinates collapsed the instant the Scare crow was obliterated by the crew. The life sucked from his body as the Voodoo doll used the life force of the victim to regrow into a new Jonathan Breck. To stalk their ship. Demonstrating a weaving power that allowed him to disguise and mingle among the many subordinates of the patrone's crew. Collecting valuable items and information before trying to make his escape.

When the ship docked on an ice island, he tried to escape but failed. Ending up resurrecting through another Voodoo doll carried by Rockafeller's strongest pirates under his employ; Mr. Engineer, Mr. Marshal, and Mr. Conductor, the crew of Metal Moon. Riding with them as The Crazy Train chased after the stolen ship that Rockafellar wanted back. Giving the crew of the Patron chase till they escaped into world government territory.

Free from his mental prison and with the crew's information on hand. Jonathan "9-lives" Breck reports back to his employer with the next phase of the plans.
