Note: if you don’t know what is going on please see the start of this little series.
This picture can be summed up in a single word; Damn!
This picture was drawn by the legendary
Aaros and if you don’t know who that is PLEASE go check out his gallery and if you have some spare cash that you aren’t doing anything with commission him! He is a wonderful artist to work with and while I think that everyone that drew something in this series rocks I’m going to give a special shout out to Aaros. Not only did he have to sift through extensive paragraphs to find what I was after but he did not one but two different sketches and later on he discovered that he had made a relatively minor mistake (Although one that would have been painful to fix) and corrected it without a second thought. He redrew an entire head and neck even when the picture was almost complete. His awesomeness didn’t stop there, just when I thought that the picture was finished he was like “Nope, I’ll add some scales and highlights.” Then when I couldn’t think that it couldn’t be improved he was like *BAM!* more highlights! If you can’t tell I am over the moon about this picture and the artist’s epicness so please, please, please, please go fave the original and tell him how freaking cool his art is. Now, do it now!
Aaros, if you are reading this thank you so much! <3
What, you want more about the character? Alright then.
As you would suspect each of the heads had a different personality and name, the body moving with the majority rule. I forget their original names but they were going to be based on either their physical characteristics or colours if they had different coloured heads, you know, so that they were easily identifiable. The personalities were as follows:
(Left to right)
Eyes: Left brain orientated, logical, analytical and generally smart. In a modern setting he would also probably be nerdy.
Fangs: Angry, aggressive and very short tempered. Just to be different I probably would have made one of the heads female and considering that not only would this head be attached to a male body but also be forced to hang out with four guys 24/7 she would probably get a little pissed off, hence this would have been the most likely head to be female. One reason why I didn’t use this character (Or rather this idea) was because I didn’t want to offend any transgender people because I can see how something like that could seem like an insult. :/
Equinox: Doesn’t that head look a lot like old Greenwing? That is because it is him, well an earlier version at least. This would have been the most neutral head out of the five.
Frills: Right brain orientated, artistic and creative. Originally he and Eyes would have been the two more placid characters but with those bioluminescent markings I’m not so sure. He looks rather mysterious and almost shamanistic. I love bioluminescence and there should totally be more characters around with it incorporated into their design but Aaros gets the credit for including it in this picture.
Horns: If these characters’ features/head positions are meant to say something about their personality then what qualities would such a horny head embody? In other words this is the head that the majority furries would like the most. :P
Why use so many heads? Well three is too stereotypical but an uneven number would ensure that there would never be a stalemate when it came to making decisions. However, if I brought this character back as a secondary I would remove Equinox to make it easier to draw. I actually felt bad for asking Aaros to draw so many heads.
Obviously this character wouldn’t really represent myself and it would be costly to commission. Not surprisingly this made it rather unappealing even though the hydra is an interesting and underappreciated mythological creature.
Do I regret not using this idea/species? No, I probably wouldn’t have been able to afford too many commissions and it is an overly complicated character. That being said it is also astonishing and impressive, especially when drawn correctly.

Thank you very much, please be sure to tell Aaros this if you haven't already.
No, those probably wouldn't have been the final names for each of the heads and I have no idea what the entire creature would have been called. ‘Legion’ is a little too cliché but at the same time it fits. A synonym for chaos or disorder would have also been appropriate.
