Tomorrow is the Iditarod, to honor the original serum run...
If you don't know the TRUE story of Balto and Togo and all the other brave dogs and men who helped deliver the meds, I highly suggest you go read bout it....
Of course, how could I NOT wear this to the beginning of the race?! :D

The only thing I hate about the Iditarod now is how no one uses huskies anymore, it's all greyhound hybrids cuz they're just obsessed with being fast. :( Yes they are fast but they aren't made for running such long races!

I don't wanna distract the dogs... XD So I won't be RIGHT there but I'll be wandering around the area and watching. A lot of times I go up in the parking garage and watch cuz it's a good view from up there. :3
I am gonna try my best to be there but I've been sickly the past few days, I threw up yesterday and dunno why, and feeling kinda crappy today.

Yeah but for this long long race you need to be really physically healthy... and I'm sickly and diabetic, but maybe I can make myself really healthy eventually :) I'm sure if I truly wanted to I could, but I just kinda let it go... D:
Maybe someday. But I still have other, better dreams that I wish to accomplish. ^^

To run in the Iditarod you need a ton of dogs, but I do plan on getting ONE sled dog and just dogsledding for fun.
The only problem is I live in a small place that doesn't allow big dogs. But as soon as I have my own place, dangit, I will get a dog. D:
