Wellllllllllllllll... Once upon a time...
Ok no seriously though: Pretty Pervy was a store that did a lot of rubber creations of their own. These included some inflatable rubber critters of sorts. And they generally cost low to mid 4 digits in US Dollars. Latex Catfish, a Chinese Latex company came around and said "hey we can do these too, for cheaper!" and so they basically started copying their designs and did it for like $250-$300 for them.
There's also some random garbage about another maker trying to basically take the Latex Catfish "animal" stuff away from them so that they'd no longer be copying Pretty Pervy and other folks and would have legit designs. Well that company started up but Latex Catfish is still doing their thing. That and the design they're both using for the fox is kinda a copy of the Pretty Pervy fox. It's a cluster fuck really.
In the end, Pretty Pervy is out of business though I believe this is not directly because of this issue, though it might have pushed some things along. But Pretty Pervy, the UK store made the original fox you're thinking of, but Latex Catfish is the place that made the tiger suit that also makes a clone of the fox.
