When I saw the thumbnail for this it immediately made me think back to the end of Princess Mononoke!

I love the way you did this, I really like black and white work so it makes me extremely happy to see something like this today. xD The textures and soft feel against the high contrast of the figure is really awesome. And I really like the fact that even though there isn't a whole lot of detail to the figure you can see the lighter void where the eye is. Beautiful work. :)

the project is to do a digital painting in black and white and then next we color it, though even when I color it's still gonna be pretty subdued I think 'u'
