I need to get back into clicker training to help him pinpoint just what action I want, but he does this as a trick :P He always falters a bit and offers me all sorts of other actions that he knows too though. Partly I think his flailing of tricks comes from how my roommate interacts with him, as she likes to see him be "creative" and offer whatever cute action he feels like doing when she throws random hand signals at him (he's not deaf, but he pays much more attention to hand signals than verbal commands). It's a bit aggravating to have him not immediately know what I'm asking, but I do admit it is damn cute to watch him spin and jump and bow and fling his paws around in search of what will get him the treat from her! lol
