A Canadian National train has just arrived in the yard at Homewood, Illinois, just south of Chicago, with freight from Toronto. Behind the lead SD75I is a Dash-8 with an interesting history. It was one of several Conrail units sold to LMS Leasing, but later sold to the Illinois Central. The units changed hands again when CN took over the IC. Behind *that* is the CN inspection/office car, the 'Sandford Fleming', on its way to the Northeast.
