He got an racial encounter called Pounce which was like the Rogue's Tumble ability (shifting your speed/combat advantage) and a feat called Night Hunter which made damage rolls more accurate in dim light. He also had Land on All Fours which gave him a huge bonus to save against falling damage and them reduced any falling damage he received. He was a a really good DM!
