So, I've been obsessed with the songs from les mis lately, its an awesome musical with classic songs. If you've watched "Rita and Runt" on Animaniacs, you've prolly heard the melodies of some of the songs.
Actually, just about every time there is a musical scene in a western animated series, chances are it is a reference to a stage musical, "at the gala from MLP? Originally a song called "Ever after" for example, and the only reason why Flim and Flams apple cider song sounds like the monorail song from The simpsons is cus both songs are a parody of an older stage musical.
