Oh well, if you can only have a firearm in one calibre for quiet work, .45 would be the way to go. Well if you like SBRs, there is a nice little "pistol" that is just begging to be SBR'ed.
Familiar with the Soviet PPS 43 sub machine gun?

They were in stock the other day, for this price. so it would be a cheap and quick (quick as any bureaucracy is anyway) SBR project if you are interested. =]
