Okay, so heres part 2 of the my initiation furry sketches. As denoted in the comment about Part 1, this sketch only has my friend, Sterne, in it on the other end of the IM, while Jar'ard is talking to him on the IM. I left him out of the sketch because I felt I needed to focus on drawing angstyUsagi and not redrawing Jar'ard.
Now, this one was particularly difficult for me. I haven't been successful at adding emotion to faces, yet. I also don't like the hand design, as it appears too boney and jagged. The feet are the same way, as I wanted Sterne to be digitigrade (thanks Rimau Dahan for the terminology!), and not as flat-footed as he appears here. Also, I wanted to add into the background some of angstyUsagi's artwork, as the blank frames appear on the walls. I had no idea what his room looked like from this angle, so I wanted to be creative and place some of his sketched framed and mounted on the wall. They will appear in one of the final drafts of this image.
The clothing style is also something I am unsatisfied in this sketch. Sterne is originally supposed to be an angsty hair, but his clothes here appear too standard of an attire.
...and don't even get me started on the ears. I have never tried drawing a hare, before, and the ears were a massacre for me to draw correctly! =3
