- Excerpt from the periodical Sunnyville Times, dated December 3rd, 2010 -
Since our normally balmy an warm city was struck with a freak snowstorm a two weeks ago, there have been a number of alleged "Monster Sightings" circulating around the town rumor mill. And finally your friendly, handsome reporter Bill Bobberson is pleased to announce that we have actual footage of this mysterious Snow Monster.
During an unrelated filming session of famous local artist Gregory Malkivyk's work on the sudden winter landscape, the filming crew was alarmed to find the unknown snow monster approaching their site. Several of the crew fled the scene, but one enterprising and moderately brave technician remained, and provided us with this shot, shortly before the strange and enormous beast sneezed and sent him running away with the camera.
Our hearts go out to Gregory Malkivyk, who was recently hospitalized for severe frostbite injuries. Let us all wish him luck in recovering and making good use of his remaining limbs.
In other news, the Sunnyville Times is running a constest to name this mysterious visitor!
