Oo, this was the one that I liked the most outta the batch. Love his tail coming up from the bottom of the cup on the other side from his head a lot.

It turned out quite nice. Glad to see that it didn't explode in the kiln or any cracks and such on it as well =)

Porcelain has much less chance of blowing up than stonewear...especially since I paint on already white-glazed fired china.

Lazy kid in pottery class in high school didn't kneed his clay much, and when he slipped and scored his coils, he barely got them together.

Sooo... in the kiln, it exploded and took out an entire level of other pots. Sure, we had quite a few exploders from people not playing attention, but he did such a bad job, his took out every single one on the shelf, including one of mine >.<

Yeah, that happened to me too. Pottery class in high school was fun! We all made 'kiln gods' to watch over our fires...but scoring and kneeding was indeed a more sure thing!

Same guy was the one who put a huge glob of overly wet clay on an electric potters wheel and pressed his foot to the floor on the pedal.

Clay.
Everywhere.
Detention.

That guy made his pots out of digging out parts from the bin of rejects and then poorly slipped and scored them together. He was not allowed to use the wheel after that. He did some how manage to make a turtle out of someones discarded bowl and some broken knob handles to make it's head and feet, aha!

All your china work is wonderful, but this is my favorite of this recent set.
I seriously envy your china painting skills.
