Meanwhile half time is coming and the coach is grumbling about the mascot being late. Imagine his surprise when instead of an inflated horse waddling onto the pitch, a studly stallion trots on, holding two cheerleaders up effortlessly! Looks like the team has a new quater back! (Only tyoe of American football player I know, I assume it's the most sought after position >_> )

Very cute idea and I like the nice ending you gave it with him continuing to be "mascot."
M Knight Shaymalan ending: He suffocated to death way back on page 3 and this is all a fantasy of his last moments of life, living out the dream that could never be fulfilled ^_^;
But really though, shrimpy nerds getting an upgrade is always fun (especially if the glasses stay on)

I like how you did the background of the stands. Must have taken you a while.
