Prologue
Hunt or be hunted is a way of life and it doesn't matter what world you live in. My grandfather taught me that when I was five years old. My name is Zack Fenres, I'm 15 and stand about 5'9". Dirty blond hair and green eyes help my charm, but not a very big teen. I got most of my muscle working day after day on a ship. I never complained about life on a ship except that there weren't enough women. I never got the hang of talking to girls which sucked because they always wanted to talk to me. Life can be cruel. Everytime we went to port I usually got a girl or six to like me, but I was always too shy. But not in a fight, and thanks to my grandfather who trained me almost every other day, I was a force to be reckoned with.
Today I stand in the rain at the gravestone of the greatest man. My grandfather or too be more accurate my great grandfather (but I just call him grandpa), Clark Fenres, was my world and he also taught me that something is born everytime time something dies and when bad times come that there are good ones coming. I understand that now as I stand with my new family that i would have never have met if it weren't for him. My real parents were drug addicted monsters that died in a car accident when I was three. Fortunately, they forgot me at home that night when they drove into oncoming traffic during their high rush. My crazy grandfather was the only family that would take me. I never saw him before, in fact no one had seen him for nearly 60 years. He went missing in the 30s and appeared suddenly 14 years ago wanting to take me into his care. No one even contacted him yet he somehow knew and came for me. After he picked me up a life of adventure began. He lived on a ship, traveling the world looking for a type of storm and some lost artifacts. It was just me and him traveling the world. He was on a hunt for something that most would laugh at, MAGIC. I thought he was mad at first and wondered how he could pay for this quest, but he was being funded by some weird rich guy that had taking a big interest in his work. My grandfather said that he could make a machine that would send him to an alternate world. He said he been their before and was trying to return. He said that he once had magic and walked with some of the most mystical beings. He also said that we are not in our true human forms, saying that we acturally have claws, fangs, and tails. He said that we are called demons in the alternate world and that there are different types. The lighter kind of demons are called Dai and the darker kinds are called Akuma, both sides having good and evil so you can't stereotype. There are two in between, one being feral and most common called Fiends, and the other said to be most mysterious and most rare, Youkai. I never got tired of him telling me that me and him are Youkai and that when he finished the machine we belong there. He seemed to enforce that I read fantasy book and play video games and watch cartoons, he said that my imagination well always be my greatest weapon. At first he had me going when i was young, but time passed and I began to doubt. Though I never gave up on him and he told me that he would take me to this paradise. If i knew what it would of cost I might have stopped him, but even now I realize that he did it for me. He got me to this world called Amaris, and I'll never forget that day I first came and when my new life began.

Chapter One....
Beginnings

"Where am I?" I said as i walked through a ocean of fog. I couldn't see a thing for miles as I looked left and right to see any signs of anything. Suddening I saw something in the distance. It was a small figure or at least it did from where i was. I couldn't make it out at first so i moved much more quickly, but with caution as something felt off to me.
"Hello?" I called, but no response as i moved closer and closer. As I got closer a figure began to take shape in the fog and the figure seemed to be some sort of animal. Suddenly I saw the creature for its true form and froze as I stared at a big wolf just sitting there looking at me. I Stopped instantly and waited for what came next. I felt exposed to its gaze as if it could peer into my soul. The wolf I swear gave a smile and spoke in some sort of tongue. The language felt I had heard before and then I felt a strong breeze slam into me. I was almost blown away when I saw a giant wave of water rushing at me. The wolf just sat there grinning at me completly unfazed by the giant wave towering behind it.
"It begins now." the wolf said in a female voice. I was about to ask what it meant, but the wave came crashing down. I awoke wet from the storm that was rocking the whole boat.
"Zack, wake up! I need yah for a minute." I heard my gramps yelling for me out on the deck, so I put on my favorite jeans and jacket along with a black pair of sneakers. I forgot to put on a shirt on underneath, but I didn't care. Outside the storm seem to linger, but was unaturally calm as the rain pour ever slightly and there was little wind, yet the sky look very forboding. The clouds had lightning courseing through them, but not a whisper of thunder and the flashs seemed to have a very of colors I've never seen before like rainbow lightning. The rain was also weird as it isn't cold, in fact I thought I could take a shower it was so warm. I saw my grandpa wave me over to the cabin for something, probably wanted my help with his crazy inventions. Though it is just me and him on the ship it still a very decent vessal. Easily confused as a rich man's cruiser, it look like something from the movies yet this baby hides her true form. Besides the nice living courters, the ship had a lab and the ship is mostly automatic making a ship the would a crew of maybe 15 be managed by one or two. It also has guns hidden through out the ship even cannons on the outside. This ship was a battleship made to look civilian. It's creepy just thinking why someone would give this ship that 007 couldn't get, to my nut gramps. I hurried up to the cabin to see what my grandpa needed, just hoping he doesn't want to experiment on me again, I hate those days.
"Hey Gramps, whats sup?" I asked, but my question was answered as I saw my grandpa's creepy sponsor was on bored with his two original goons. My grandpa looked worried and everytime I see this man I hate him more. My grandpa saw my disgust and gave me a look to change my expression.
"Zack, Mr. Fragus wants to use the machine tonight and I need some help." He explained. Mr. Fragus is slender white man, maybe mid 30s with blond hair grease back and the face of a genuine snake. He wore his classic white suit with a blood red tie. His two gorillas wore black suits and both look like the Thing from marvel comics. He had been showing up more frequently mostly because my grandpa's big invention was supposely finished and I didn't think we had much time left.
"Now Professor Fenres, do you think the portal can be opened, you have never disappointed me before and I would hate to come all these way for a blowout." He smirked. My grandpa had sweat all over and looked very nervous. He looked at me and I saw fear in his eyes.
"Zack prepare the med lab, we... ...we are trying a human trial today." He said shakey. I stood there surprise, his main invention was some sort of teleporter that sent you to what my grandpa thought to be the paradise he wanted to travel back too. We tested it before and no success until about a week ago, when we sent a rabbit with a camera on its collar and it went somewhere and made it back. My grandpa said not to report the success, but I guess Mr. Fagot found out anyway.
"Come on Zack before the storm passes." my gramps urged. We moved down to the med lab were my grandpa I guess was preping Mr Fragus to go thru the portal. He had a very evil grin on his smug face and he waved his two goons into the room.
"Now just to make sure you don't mess up, I 'll leave these two fine gentlemen to confirm my safety after the transfer. If they don't get my ok from the comm, you and your grandson shall have a very unpleasant experience before your unforunate deaths, ok. " He somehow gave a happy expression after that. I stood there in the other room pretending I didn't hear that. My grandpa just nodded and gave him the weird shot. He was moving to the room I was in and slowly closed the door behind him. Before i could turn around to confront him about what i just heard I felt a needle shoot right into my arm.
"Ow! What are-" he covered my mouth.
"That monster can't be the chosen one to go to Amaris, he would be the a blight on that world. You, you are going the one who goes though. I made a promise to you and now I guess it's time that I keep it. Zack no matter what happens know that I love you and I know that you'll be happy with your new family. When the time comes run into the portal" He had a tear drop as he then pushed me out of the room before I could question him. I stood there confused and worried, but quickly shook it off and hid my emotions as that snake carelessly look my way.
"You ready lil pup, haha" He snickered. I clenched my fist but his two goons stared me down, so I just walked out of the room and to the main lab. I heard laughter as I left, this caused me to bolt down the hall. I didn't know what was going on or what the hell my gramps was talking about, but I knew at the least I had to try to protect him.
In the main lab is a giant glass chamber with a bunch of giant generators connected to it. The weird thing about the machine is that it has a giant stone seal attached to the bottom and in three smaller glass cases surrounding the main was these little stone idles with ruby, emerald, and saphire eyes. Mr. Fragus stood ready behind the safety doors with an very smug face.
"Zack, activate the Idles resonators" My grandpa ordered. I was at the secondary computer controls and in a quick keystroke the idles cases began to shine. My grandpa then opened ceiling to the main deck and almost instantly lightning in red, green, and blue stuck the idles, making a very magical scene. The intensity of the sight was intrancing, but unlike last time the lightning actually continued to strike the idles. I stood there amazed as the idles eyes began to sing some beautiful song, but this time it was much clearer. The first time I thought I imagine the song, but now it was as if they were right next to me. Then I realized I had heard this language before, it was the same as the wolf. I looked over to my grandpa who wasn't at the main controls anymore. I then saw Mr. Fragus and his goons banging on the safety doors as my grandpa broke the controls locking the door. He was holding his gut as he turn and ran over to me. We walked to the main chamber and open the glass door. The seal on the floor open into some wormhole
"Come you must be the one to go through." he choked as blood came out of mouth and fell to the floor.
"Grandpa! I'm not leaving you, your the only family I have! I'm taking you with me" I cried as tears poured down my face.
"No... (Cough)... only one can go thru every 50 years, you have to be the one to protect Amaris, you are the chosen one. I-I love you, you made an old man very happy. You will be my life's greatest achievement. (cough) Don't forget to believe. It begins now" He coughed more blood and pushed me into the portal. My whole body felt as if it was being ripped apart and sucked into a small vaccum. I was tossed everywhere and the I saw a light that blinded me then it swirled creating a tunnel of light. Suddenly I felt something in my back twist and grow as it seemed to trying to burst out of me. My fingers and toes felt as if they were going to pop out of the ends. The pain was to intense, but I couldn't seem to pass out or control it. Then the same feeling happened to my head as it felt as if stacks were bursting out of my head. I thought I was going to die when suddenly I saw a figure at the end of the tunnel of light, I quickly noticed it to be the wolf from my dream yet this time much bigger. It looked to be made out of pure energy as it moved closer.
"You have arrived young one. Calm your soul, everything will be alright." she spoke and then I felt all the pain leave my body and something like a hurricane well up inside me. I felt as is if i could jump over building or lift a car.
"Who are you? What is happening?" I asked. She smile and then blew some kind of smoke out of her mouth. The smoke took form and I almost burst into tears to see my gramps.
"Gramps your alive!" My joy was short lived as he shook his head and smiled.
"Sorry my boy, but my journey ends here, but yours begins." I looked at him confused and full of questions.
"What is going on grandpa, what is that wolf and where am I?"
" This is the deity Nishari, the wise mother. She watches over Amaris and is one of its protectors. You are in the Path of Rebirth, a passage that has turned you into human kind true form and returns them to our true home."
I looked at my hands and saw that they were now claws and the same happened to my feet as claws had burst out of my sneakers as well. I rubbed my head to find the my now long ears were pointed and I had small horns on my head. I freaked then felt something move around in my pants. I reach in the back and nearly pissed myself as i found I had grown a long black tail. It was very slim with a devilish little curve at the end. The giant wolf move forward and began to sing the strange song that seemed to calm my soul completely.
"You have been given a chance at a knew life son, and I'm sorry i can't join you. But you, you have the ability to do things I could never do. Your youth has strengthen your imagination and that is your greatest weapon and now that you power has been released you can do anything. Zack This is my gift to you. I know that you'll be happy." He was about to continue, but the giant wolf stop singing and gave him a quick look.
"I'm sorry things worked this way and I have so much to tell you, but time is up and its time for my soul to finally be at peace. I Love you my dear grandson" and with that he disappeared back in smoke and was sucked back into the wolf.
"Its Begins now" She spoke and before I knew it I felt that vaccum motion pull me further into the tunnel of light. I yelled as the light intensified and passed out.
I awoke on the ground in some ruins looking area surrounded by thick trees that streched hundreds of feet into the air. It was night time, but somehow I was able to see kind of clearly even in the darker parts of the forest. I looked up to shocked to see two moons, one dark purple that was much bigger than the other that was red. The stars shine bright and a aurora heavenly creeped over the night sky creating a enchanting sight. I noticed many strange bugs and little creature like a lizard that looked like it was made of glass and had a little ball of light that changed color and moved around it's body. I saw a spider looking insect that when I got close curled up into a ball with wings and flew away like a bullet. I told myself it might be best to avoid the wildlife until I know what i'm dealing with. The trees seem to react to me as I walked by as the leaves bloomed beautful flowers filled with little spores the shined like fireflys.
"Gramps, I wish you were with me for this" I cried. I began to walk through the ruins, wondering what it is that I have to do or what i can I do.
as time pass, sleep crept upon me make me almost fall a couple times. It got cold so I zipped up my jacket.
"I wish I wore a shirt now. I guess a fire would be a good start, but how am I going to make one?" I sat down crossed legged and pondered ideas. I tried hard to get the idea of rubbing two sticks together, when finally i gave up and decided to give it a shot. I broke off a couple branches and leafs and begun to work.
After an hour of nothing, I gave up.
"Damn it. well off to a bad start I guess." I remembered the human torch from fantasic four and how he could snap his fingers and fire would appear.
"Yeah I wish I could just..." I snapped my fingers and to my shock a flame appeared.
"OH SHIT!" i screamed and shooked my hand extinquishing the flame.
"What the hell... ... no way!" I was overjoyed as I remember what my gramps said about my imagination and to my surprise I could keep doing it. I made a fire and began to relax next to fire. I quickly learned there are some limits like that my fire can't burn me, but after I burn something the flame can hurt me then, so i made a quick mental note.
"Haha this is awesome! I wonder what else I can do." I sat back and enjoyed the fire when I heard a loud scream for help. I jumped up, my ears somehow pinpointed where the scream came from. I seemed to developed superhuman senses and turn after i heard another scream.
"Damn, only a few hours in and i'm already saving peeps. Great." I snickered.
"Help! Anybody!" It was a girls voice. I quickly ran towards the source, but I seemed to moved to fast and nearly missed one tree just to run into another. I moaned a bit, as i picked myself out of a outline of my body into the tree. The tree clearly took more damage than me as I didn't even have a mark, but it still hurt a bit.
"Ouch, I guess I'm a little faster than I used too. After this I might have to see what i can do." I sighed as i carefully rushed towards the damsel in distress. I stopped to see a deep hole in the ground, it looked like some kind of trap.
"Hello, anyone down there?"
"O thank the mother, hello yes i seem to fell into a snag here, would you mind throwing down a vine or casting a levitation verse?"
"uh I'll grab a vine" I stood there confused and thought it would be safer to just get a vine as I had no idea what she meant. I used my new superhuman strength to climb the tree and grab a large vine. The vine was over 60 feet so I thought that would be long enough. I tied the vine around a tree and threw the rest down into the hole
"Heads up, here comes the vine."
"Heads whats, ooo thanks, I coming up." Suddenly the vine went tight and I heard the knot strain, so i ran over to make sure the knot stayed tight.
"Damn how much you weigh, shit I hope it doesn't snap."
"Almost there..." I held on tight looking at the hole as it sounded she was near the top. The I saw a large furry hand dig it's claws into the ground as the creature brought herself back to the surface. She was a 9ft wolf with a body matching a humans in some places, like her body was strong but curved, she had big breasts and her hands were somewhat similiar, but her face and feet were canine. Her fur was light brown and her eyes gleamed blue in the dark. I stared as she brushed off dirt from her long sleeved shirt that showed her belly and off her long jeans. Her clothes looked expensive and somewhat fancy. She bent down to brushed her pants as she began to thank me.
"Thanks a million, I dont' know how I can..." Her eyes met mine as she was shocked to see me. We stared at each other with speechless expressions, me still holding onto the vine and her still bent down with a hand on her pants. This awkward scene continue until I finally let go of the vine.
"Bye!" I turned and sprinted into the forest, totally forgeting about my new power and ended up running thru one tree and crashing into another, this time knocking me to the ground. The wolf girl stood there frozen by what just happened. She slowly moved to where I was and crouched down next to me.
"Ow" I moaned as that one really hurt. I was very dizzy and still a little fuzzy about what just happened.
"Are you ok" I came too and saw that she was right in my face. I sat up and back crawled away just to get cornered by a tree.
"No no no relax, I'm not going to hurt you ok. Relax, everything is fine, my name Seras, Seras Fenrir. Your bleeding you know right?" I then noticed that blood was dripping onto my face, and thats when more pain came.
"Ow ow ow ow, thanks for the info. I'm Zack, Fenres is my last name." I froze as she jump toward me and smiled.
"Your a Fenres! Your part of the family of Saviors and that means your a human right?" I didn't know how to respond, but I guess she wasn't a threat so i nodded.
"Wow I never seen a human or sorry Youkai before, wow your kind is so cute!" My faced turn red after the commit, and didn't seem to understand what was going on. Now that things calmed down a bit I looked at her and saw that she seemed to be very mature yet still young like a teenager. Besides her seducing body, I more captivated by her blue eyes that seemed like the most magicial thing I've seem so far. I tried to change the moment.
"So how you end up in that hole?" I asked, but she still kept her eyes focus on me like a predator. She noticed my embarasment and want more to tease, but for now she just sighed and decided to save it for later.
"I was on a run when I saw a bright light and when i went to investigate i fell into the trap. There was a enchantment on it so I could use magic to get myself out. Kind of pathetic actually." She laughed and I mimicked. She seem kind enough and I told myself that if she wanted to hurt me she might have done it already, so for the moment I wasn't afraid of being eaten. She looked back me with her cute smile and sat dwon next to me.
"So whos clan are you part of anyway?"
"I don't have a clan, haha in fact i just got here a a few hours ago." Her face looked much more serious and i was now afraid of being eaten.
"You don't have a family! Then I demand you join mine!" I was stunned as I stared into her eyes.
"What? I don't know, I mean I'm a different species so..." She cut me off and moved in real close and put her arms on each side cornering me. She moved closer and closer making my heartbeat faster and faster. I was really afraid of being hurt, but I never been this close to a girl before. Even though she was of a different species she was still female and from what I saw how she acted she didn't seem to care that I was different anyway. In fact she seemed actracted to the fact that I was human. Now she her snout was only inches away and my heart pounded. She could sense what I was feeling and seemed to really enjoy it. She licked the blood from my face and looked deep into my eyes with a very caring grin. My face turned beat red as she moved closer, I backed up as much as I could into the tree and just stared back. She then retreated a bit, I guess she had teased me enough and let me relax a bit more. She then reached for my hand.
"Come, I'll show you the way home. I'm sure you'll be happy in the Fenrir family. Don't worry, I'll be with you." She gently grabbed my hand and pulled me up. We started to walk deeper into the forest and within a few minutes I saw lights far in the distance. The whole time we walked I just stared at her as we walked wondering why, why would she want to take me into her family? I wondered if the rest of her family would accept me, besides my grandpa I didn't know how to really interact with other people or well in these case species. I kept thinking that they wouldn't like me, because I was different or because i didn't know things or something like that. I started to get scared and shake a bit, but then I felt Seras squeeze my hand and thats when I looked up to see her smiling at me. She must have noticed that I was very nervous and stopped to look at me.
"Don't worry I said, I'll be right her with you." I felt as if a bunch of weight had just dropped off my back. She was right, as long as she was there I didn't care and if she was sure so would I. I smiled back and we began to walk again.
"Alright so where exactly are we going anyway." I asked curiously.
"Oops, sorry, we are going to the Fenrir IronHeart, its a castle that my or now our family has owned for nearly 2000 years. Actually its because of your family that we have lasted this long. In fact the previous Fenres was one of the most famous. 200 years ago, twice he stopped a great threat from destroying this world and brought our house and many others together and prevented countless wars. Shame he returned to Umbreia, but since you here I guess it means he survived." I stopped and stared at the ground.
"What was the name of the man?" I shook as I awaited for her answer. She look at me with worry as she thought she may have said to much.
"He was the Great Clark Fenres, Tamer of Darkness and Destroyer of Tails and Savior of Amaris. The list go on. He by far was a great person and he also the reason why most Dai and Akuma get along."
Wow my grandfather was really great man huh?" I felt tears of joy build and I started to remember what had just happened to that great man.
"Yeah your grandfather.... ...Wait your grandfather was the Great Clark Fenres! Then your a direct decendant right? Have you every met him"
"Yeah raised and I guess trained me to come her at one point."
"Amazing, to trained by the great protector himself, a lot of people are envious of you. I am one of them too." She smiled. I laughed as I thought back to all the times he worked me to the bones and nearly killed me while we trained with swords and spears. But he also played pretend all the time acting like we were in Amaris. I guess he was training me to come her one day. I remember when he first saw a show called dragonball z and demanded that I pretend i'm in that show. I can see why now I guess.
"Wait 200 years ago!" I looked at Seras as to see her notice she had made some mistake, but she looked back at me confused.
"Yeah why is something wrong... ...O thats right, your from Umbreia, yeah you'll have to ask the Lore Master more, but races live much longer and age slower in Amaris than in Umbreia. 200 years I don't think is a big deal to your kind. The second you entered Amaris, the enchantment on you that made you age should have disappeared. How old are you now?" she asked with her beautiful smile. I took this news with a bit of nerve, but taking in account what has happened and everything I seen, I guess anything is possible. I look back at Seras seeing the smile and again felt my face turn red. I never been really been around a girl before and to have one care this much about me was a new experience for me. Seras just giggled as she saw I was shy around her, she couldn't help to think it was just too cute.
"Hehe I'm 15 years old so i guess I have a long way too go." I was startled as she grabbed me and lifted me up.
"Wow your just a kid then! Wait that means I get a little brother and you get a too go to the same school as me too. So 15 years means your almost 4. Thats great. That might explain why your so small, but I don't think humans get much bigger." She seemed too happy about this.
"Wait hold on I'm not a kid and what do you mean that I'm 4?" She placed me on her shoulders like a little kid and if it wasn't too much fun I would have told her to put me down.
"Well if I got this right, one year in Umbreia are like seasons to us and if the are four seasons in a year then thats means you are only 4 in Amaris." she explained. I started to understand how it works and relaxed on her head as I thought about going to school. Well at the least she said I would going to the same school as her so that doesn't sound too bad.
"And before you ask I'm 8 and a 1/4 years old by the way." she said a little disdained.
"Wait then that means your-"
"Don't say it! I like to hear my age in the lower numbers and for your infomation that is very young!" she growled and I shut my trap. We both laughed as we continued toward the castle. As we got closer, the tree began to thin up and I finally got to see the castle. It was huge, streching up to the sky like most skyscrapers do. It had a nearly 200 ft walls surrounding an area triple size of New York City and on each corner was a towers twice the height of the walls. The towers each had a blue orb the size of a house shining and there was a beam of light connecting each of them together. In the center was a castle that looked like multiples castle were stack upon each other. The structure stood twice the size of the towers and had a even bigger orb hovering above it and its shine seemed to just calm my soul as I looked at it. From where would stood I noticed we were on a mountain that allowed you to slightly see the entireity of the whole city. Inside there were many castles and small village looking places all with people in what looked like cars moving around everywhere.
"Welcome to Ethra, home of the War Orders, and your new home." Seras giggled as she could fell my excitment.
"Now are you ready to Wind-Step?" she asked with a little devious in her voice.
"Um sure I think?" I should have said no at first. In an instant everything around me turned into a blur as we shot down the mountain like a meteor. I was afraid at first, but for some reason I was able to handle the force and the speed at which we moved and before I knew it I was yahooing the rest of the way down. Seras tried to go a little faster and then jumped. I just held a little tighter, but I wasn't going to let her chicken me out. We were in free fall for about a sec then decended back to the ground and Seras sprinted again towards the bottom. In a minute we decended that mountain and were at the Gates of Ethra. Seras and I laughed as we walked to the gates, she then let me down and she stared at me again with those heaven enticing. I looked back this time with confidence and smiled. She then bent down and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. My face was burning and I felt a little faint. My first kiss from a girl and I nearly fall over, I need to learn how to react around women or I'll never get a girlfriend. Seras seemed to really enjoy teasing me and giggled.
"You seem a little shy, I take it you haven't been around that many females before." My silence just increased her amusment and the sight of my red face seem to entice her even more.
"C-can we just m-m-move on ok." I started to walk towards the with my face down in embarassment. Seras laughed behind me enjoy my shame, damn life can be cruel. My mind search for other things and I stopped to look at the gates. Just as I thought big walls means big gates and I was the shy as I saw even at this time of night there were plenty of 'People' (Anthros) around moving in and out of the gates. I saw strange cattle creatures being moved and also even stranger looking people moving around. Some weren't to bad as they looked like some animals from home like cats and dogs. A couple looked like lizard people and one was a 15 ft T-rex looking group. Though there were some that looked like George Lucus made them, one looked like he had a worm with four legs and no arms. He looked like Jabba the Hutt with legs and man I think i could smell him from where I was standing. Seras walked real close and pulled me to her side.
"Now stick with me ok, everything will be fine." She said with a bit of uncertainty, but I just nodded and stayed close. Suddenly before we entered the crowd, 10 soldier looking creatures dropped from the sky and surround us. They looked like some kind of eagle yet they had blue feathers and weird blue lines over there bodies that glowed. they each wore a similiar armor and had longswords. They all seemed to bow down around us and the commotion seemed to grab the attention of everyone else in the area. I just stood there with eyes wide wondering what the hell was happening. One of the troop had a red cape and seemed to be clad in gold armor, I took it he was in charged.
"Milady, we were worried when you didn't come to dinner after your run and went sent out a search party. Next time keep your Clan Seal so that we may keep better track of you." He sighed. He was about 10 ft himself and had a strong sense of pride or honor about him. Yet though he looked very tough and menacing, I got a sense of kind-heartness from him when he spoke.
"Sorry Talo, I didn't mean to worry you, but you know I hate draggin that thing around." She laughed. Talo sighed then noticed me standing behind her. He moved a little closer too get a better look at me. He suddenly went wide eye and looked back at Seras.
"Milady is that a... ...a Youkai!?" The whole area froze and the guards that were bowing quickly looked up. Seras just smiled and pushed me forward to confront him. I took in a deep breath and reached out with my hand.
"I-I am Zack Fenres, nice to meet you." Talo just looked at my hand then back at me.
"Fenres!?"He voice was mixed with a gasp. He drew his sword and stuck it into the ground then bowed. I froze, not sure as to what was going on. Many other bowed as well.
"My apologises, I was not aware that a Fenres walked Amaris. It is a honor to meet you Son of Fenres, your clan must be proud of your accompany. I mean no disrespect, but what clan do you grace?" He asked cautiously. I stood there shocked as to what was happening.
"Um sorry but I don't have a clan, well not yet I guess." Talo looked up at me with some kind of surprise in his eyes. He standed up looking at me a deeply as he could.
"You don't have a clan? Then that means you must have just entered our world. Pardon me for asking, but are you part of the same house of the Savior of Amaris?" He seemed on edge along with everyone else in anticpation of my answer.
"If you mean my grandpa Clark Fenres yes and he also raised me." Everyone in the crowd nearly gasped on cue. Talo looked at Seras who was just smiling.
"Don't worry Talo I have already invited him to our family." She laughed. Talo smiled and ordered his group to draw swords.
"Then we must hurry. Men at the ready!" Talo ordered and the soldiers stuck the swords into the ground. Talo raised his sword to his face or beak then closed his eyes and began to chant so incantation. The swords all shine green and a circle with strange lettering shined beneath us. Talo then stuck the ground causing some reaction with circle as it began to shine brighter.
"Invus Stratum!" he yelled and suddenly I felt as if I was back in the portal that brought me to Amaris thought this time there was any painful transformatiom. I felt Seras holding on to comforting me the whole way. I then felt ground underneath my feet and the light slowly began to dimmer. I was now in a large chamber surround by statues and large paintings of some kind of royalty. A giant chandlier hand above full of crystal shards the emitted very radiant light. Similiar crystals were attached to the walls like torches.
"Welcome Master Zack to the Fenrir clan's IronHeart Castle. Please, follow me this way. I shall tell the chef you make you a plate at once" He said with some sort of joy. I followed cautiously until Seras pinched my butt making hop forward and pick up the pace. She like teasing me too much.
"Come on you little demon, dinner should have just started and your to sweet to making me wait." her devilish smile made me smile, but also almost crap myself. Beautiful as she is, she is still a 9ft anthro wolf and i'm sure she could eat someone like me pretty easy. She also gives me the feeling that she is very devious and she might playfully torture me. Yep feeling more comfortable by the second. The halls had a many paintings and pictures of not just people, but of beautifuls places. One caught my eye as it had a human in it. As I looked more I noticed it looked like my grandfather. He was on a ship celebrating something while holding on a tooth the size of a bus. Talo saw my attention and walked toward me.
"That was made after you grandfather saved the Ocean City of Makarr from the King Kraken Uro." Talo smiled as he looked at my face with my jaw dropped. I was in awe and I wished I knew more about him. Seras didn't like to wait so she grabbed my tail and started to move on.
"Ow ow hey let go! That really hurt Seras ow!" I cried but to no avail as my distress seemed to just amuse her. I've only know her for a few hours and she already treating me like family. Talo along with the rest of the guard just laughed and shook there heads. We enter a large room full of music and in the center was a long table full of food. There were about ten people at the table, most of them were like Seras kind but a couple look like other races rich families.
"I'm home everyone! O I see the Haress and Voro Clan heads are here as well." she called. She seemed to ruin the mood a little bit. I tugged my tail out of her grasp and saw at the head of the table was a anthro large gray wolf with a kind of beard and his hair seem very well groomed. Next to him was a beautiful white wolf smiling joyfully at the sight of us. He stood up and walked other to hug Seras and the other followed. I take it that these were her parents. He was taller than her and was very built and the mom was just slightly taller and older, but still very attractive. Hey lay off um a teen. Then the two looked at me with a little too much joy.
" Hoho Well I heard the news and couldn't believe that there was a Fenres in a midst. My name is Octus Fenrir and I'm am the head of the Fenrirs and Lord over the Clans This is my wife Lia and she is the current Champion of Arts in the Arena. A real spit fire hoho." His voice was deep and bellowed yet had a sense of cheer that reminded me of Santa. He even laughed like him. The wife was just as cheerful and smiled.
"It is a pleasure to meet you young Fenres, the Fenrir are honored to once again be your host." Her voice was like a lullaby, and it seemed as if the two had some kind of plan. Octus got right to the point.
Well my boy I heard you need a family?" he chuckled. I was kind of nervous speaking to someone of such high stature but i did my best to keep my composer.
"Yes sir, but I don't want to disturb anything or impose. Maybe you can just help me adapt to life on Amaris we can call it even." I was stopped as he burst into laughter. He bent down and place his massive hand on my shoulder. The aura around him was extreme lax and he made me even feel more cheerful.
"Nonsense, I would rather eat my own arms and legs than let a Fenres live out on the streets. Come sit down next to my eldest son and we shall discuss business as we feast." I walked over to the big chair the magically shrunk and grew to sit me perfectly and comfortably at the table. The older next to me was a towering being with night black fur, but shared the same eyes as Seras. I couldn't tell how tall, but he had to beat his father in height He looked like the perfect killing machine and had a scar under his eye to boost it the effect. He wore armor that match that of the soldiers around. He looked at me with a cold face as if he was on edge about something until a piece of vegetable hit him on the head.
"Seras!" he barked annoyed.
"Ease up Jyet, he isn't going to bite you or anything. He as friendly as a Vivene, but much cuter." Seras smiled. It calmed me to see her sitting across the table, yet as always her actions along with her lustful stares caused me to want to bury my face. He then turn to me more comfortably and show a kinder side.
"Sorry, My name is Jyet. Pardon on the cold shoulder its just Youkai have always put me on edge. I hope to train with you, hopefully learn more effective ways on how to defend myself against your kind abilities." I knew he was trying to be nice, but I was curious to what he meant. I saw that he felt a little ashamed of saying that. I just waved it off.
"I look forward to it as well, maybe you can show me the basics." My attitude gave him some ease Jyet cheered up a bit.
"Now Jyet, how is that a first impression, why would you bring that up in the first place." said another wolf. He was sitting across the table next to Seras.
"My name is Issac and I'm the second oldest brother. Nice to meet yah." Issac was smaller than Seras and had dark brown fur and seam scrawny for a 7 ft wolf. He definietly was more cheerful than his older brother, but had a messier look about him.
"Nice to meet you Issac I'm Zack." Issac then seemed to change character as he put on his glasses and pulled out a journal.
"Ooo Zack is it, I've never heard that Youkai name before, does any represent a rank or a unknown classification of Youkai?"
"No its just my name, sorry"
"O no no no no it's fine, but may I ask what your world in Umbreia is like?" Octus coughed loud as did others turn away.
"Issac we must save that kind of talk for another time. Now Zack, let me introduce everyone else. Seras and Talo you have met along with Jyet and Issac. Also here our my three younger daughters Nene, Ibari, and Riku." The one named Nene was giving me a little wave and winked at me. She was the same size as Issac, yet looked like a model as she had a more slender body than Seras. Her fur was also a dark blue.
Ibari was just as shy as me and and just waved as well. Her fur was gray and she wore glasses, but just like her sisters had a attractive body and her breasts seemed as big as Seras's. Riku looked like a younger version of her mother with silk white hair and seductive eyes unlike the others attair, just like Jyet she wore armor except it was gold like Talo's armor. She had the same look as Jyet at first, but smile.
"Its a pleasure to meet you all, thank you for inviting me." I bowed my head in respect.
"O the pleasure is all mine and don't thank me til later." Nene giggled. Seras growled in spite and stared down her younger sister. I laughed as did others yet I felt a sense of danger beginning to quell.
"Joining us tonight our two of our top Clans leaders. Queen Freden of the Haress Clan of the south and Duke Holihiem of the Voro Clan of Makarr.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, our clan would have died long ago if it were not for your family. We thank you." Duke Holihiem was a small Frog being with orange and black patterned color and the same size as me but with a top hat twice that reached nearly 10 ft. Queen Fredan was a golden cat lady a little taller than me with a very serious face about her. She didn't say anything, yet gave a friendly smile. She wore lots of jewerly and look very young.
"It's very nice to meet you both." Octus just chuckled as I bowed my head.
Hoho I like this boy already, now that everyone be introduced its time to get down to business. I myself and nearly every clan in Amaris is indebted to your families sacrifices. You see your family are the most noble of all the other Youkai tribes that have come and gone. For centuries your family has given up everything for the sake of our lives and never have any can been able to truly return the favor. Now I know you are related to Clark Fenres." I was about to ask him how he knew, but he just shushed me and smiled.
"Clark Fenres sent a message nearly 60 of your world years ago saying that his bloodline was damaged by a rival Youkai tribe that threaten our world. He then in turn made it so the rival clan was stripped of their powers and were trapped in Umbriea thus again prevent another crisis. Now to do this he also removed his powers and without them he regrettablely wouldn't be able to return Amaris, but three years ago or to you 15 years ago we got another message that a true Son of Fenres was born and had evaded the blood taint and if he were to make it back to Amaris the bloodline would be saved. In the message he begged for one of the clans to offer him a home if he or she made it to Amaris. Now the Fenres have never asked anything for themselves in their entire existence and I'm not going to be th first to deny them in a time of need, so let me have the honor of welcoming a Fenres into the Head Family of the Fenrir clan. I swear to you now that we shall love you as our own." I stared at him yet wasn't able to see anything as the tears welled up in my eyes. I have always wanted a true mom and dad along with brothers and sisters. I just couldn't contain myself as I cried. Thoughts of my great grandfather and what he had to go through to make this possible just made the tears flood more.
"Hoho I take that as a yes and now a toast!" As he cheered a light blue liquid began to flow into the glasses. I reached for the glass that shrunk for my hand size and raised it high.
"To my newest and youngest son and to the Future of Amaris, may the wise mother bless us! hoho!" And with that we all took a drink. Unforuntatly it was a strong alcholic drink and I began to cough. The others laughed as Jyet patted my back. Octus was a little worried.
"Octus Dear you didn't happen to put Crefa juice in Zacks did you?" Octus froze as Lia's words hit his blood like ice. He quickly turn with a smile but her scolding stare pierced even his spirit.
"Oops sorry Zack I forgot you are still a little young for this kind of stuff." He chuckled trying to reassure both me and his wife.
"Its ok. (cough) compared to my grandfather potions this is just a sweet juices (cough)" Everyone just laughed.
"Now for the feast." Octus roared. Now I seen many movies and books and this part I wasn't excited about. I just hoped they had something that looked like mashed potatoes and without eyesballs or brains. Out these big doors in the back of the dining hall came a huge octopus looking person yet instead of 8 arms he had like thirty.
"Chef Rivas has been with the family for nearly 600 years. Your great grandfather loved her cooking, its said that he hunted her down in Ethra for a meal everytime her was here." Octus explained. I looked back and thought 'Thats a woman'. Jyet then tapped my shoulder and leaned down to my ear.
"You know its rumored that Chef Rivas can read a person mind and find out what kind of food they like. Its said its a special type of magic she uses". I hope the rumor was right because the stuff my great grandfather ate would choke a cockroach. Chef Rivas came to myside of the table and looked at me real hard like she was looking for something. The she gave a funny little laugh and patted me on the head. She then mixed and matched these trays that were covered on a table behind her and then in half a sec placed them in front of everyone while setting down napkins and silverware along with plates. She set the whole table in a flash and before I knew it there was food on my plate. My glass also looked like it was full of milk too. The food smelled delicious and even looked like some sort of steak. Chef Rivas gave me a wink and left back into what I believe to be the kitchen. I took a deep breath to hold in my puke and looked back at the food. I saw Seras giggling with her or now my mom about it. Lia looked at me at Seras whispered something to her.
"Quite the ladies man, maybe you can teach Issac how to win some hearts." Lia smiled as she saw my face turn red.
"Issac maybe Zack can hook you up with Chef Rivas, I hear she good with her hands." Nene chuckled. Everyone laughed even Issac who gave a shut up face to Nene.
"Well Zack may not be blood but he got our spirit and my charm for the ladies." Octus laughed as he devoured a leg of some creature. The rest of the night was spectacular, fill with laughs and stories. The whole time Seras never really stopped looking at me and I had trouble not staring back. Once the meal was done Octus walked into a private room with Queen Freden and Duke Holihiem whilest everyone else prepared for bed. Seras showed me to my room while Issac followed me asking everything he could think of about Umbriea (Earth).
"So are your clothes made out of some sort of magic inducing material?" Issac spat as she scribbled in his journal.
"No nothing like that."
"Well what are they made of?"
"Um?" I lifted the tag on my jacket forgeting this whole time I didn't have a shirt underneath and looked what was there.
"Cotton I think" Issac liked the sound of that.
"Ooooo and what does that do?"
"Keep me warm." My answer I think disappointed him. We reached a room marked with my name in gold lettering. The giant red door was big enough for even Jyet and look really heavy.
"Alright Issac you'll have plenty of time to ask him questions later now let him sleep" Seras being the word of reason, Issac nodded waved goodnight. Seras opened the door with ease and we both started to walk in, but I ran out real quick to say good night to Issac.
"Night bro." I said with a little pride. Issac turn around confused though.
"Bro? What does 'Bro' mean." he asked.
"It's short for brother and you say it to people you like. In your case I guess I should call you Big bro." Issac smiled. He liked the thought of being called 'Big Bro'.
"Well good night 'little bro' ha." He smiled and waved again. I heard him say bro all the way thru the halls. I walked into my room, but it was too dark and I had my hands out in front as I slowly walked.
"Seras? Seras how do you turn on the-ugh" I gasped as something tackled me. Suddenly the lights came on and on top of me was Nene. She was wearing nothing but a towel around her and she had a devious grin. She had my arms pinned and was sitting right on my crouch.
"Uh hiya sis um whats up." I smiled, but I was very shaky and the whole time I notice her towel was starting to slip.
"O nothing lilttle brother, I just want to get to know you more and..." She worked way more comfortably and slightly humped me as she knew it was only a matter of time before my rocket fully rose.
"Oooo I guess little brother ain't so little. I still feel you holding back though." she leaned forward and nimbled on my ear.
"We can't have that can we maybe we should step up the forplay." She leaned back up and slowly grabbed the top of the towel and gave a wink.
"oh you sneaky little cub!" Nene and me both turned and saw Seras walking toward us. She quickly grabbed Nene by the ear and dragged her out.
"Can't you close it down for one night!" Seras barked as she threw Nene out. Out in the hall Jyet was walking by and just stopped to see Nene, still in a towel, go flying out Zack's room right in front of him. He looked in my room seeing me on the floor and Seras all flustered.
"Hey Big Bro" I waved.
"Big bro?" He waved back confused just before Seras slammed the door. She turned around with fire in her eyes. I just froze.
"You! Bath! Now!" She ordered and I jumped up and ran in to the nearest room. But the door didn't close and I felt the weirdest most painful shock shoot right up my spine. In my hurry I accident slammed the big door on my tail that I forgot I had. Seras suddenly calmed down and began to laugh. The room I was in was dark a little narrow, but I could tell that these wasn't the bathroom. I hear laughter outside so I walked back out. Seras was sitting on the bed laughing her heart out.
"Thats your closet silly hahaha. I'm sorry, but are you ok?"
" Yeah I'm ok now. Hey I never been in here before and I don't know how to turn on the lights!" I finally go to look around now. The room itself is the size of a house and had two floor with a winding stair case connecting. The top floor was open so you could look into each other. Around the lower floor was a giant bed big enough for six with huge pillows and great red blankets. I had a giant treasure chest along with fancy wooden dressers the same height as me. Behind me near the closet I just found was a rack of weapons and armor that look like they fit me. I also saw pictures and plants that look like the came from earth or Umbriea surrounding the room.
"This room used to be a private quarters for Fenres family only, those weapons belong to your ancestors along with all these other artifacts. Weapons, treasure, even books on the top floor all from your world, mostly from your grandfather. Your grandfather somehow created a machine that sent items from your world to ours and I guess since your here he figured out to send people as well. Issac has gone mad trying to get into this room, but it didn't unlock til recently ." she explained. I looked upstairs and saw the collection of thousands of books everything from fact to fiction.
"Now time to get you ready for bed." She walked over and grabbed my hand then showed me my bathroom. More like bath house. It was almost another house. The walls were compelety white and along with fern like trees on the side. There was a giant mirror on the wall just before you entered a bath the size of a pool.
"I already go the started and towels are next to the door here." I was too amazed by the sheer size i barely heard her.
"O if you need anything and I mean anything just ring the bell." I heard that as I froze I turned just to see her devious wink as she closed the door.
"She just as bad as Nene." I sighed as undressed. As I undressed I had a little trouble with the tail and something else I hadn't noticed. Well you see my whole body was enhanced and I mean my whole body. I was now packing, not only were my boys huge, my body look fit as fit can be. Only one thing bothered me. My clothes fit perfect before , but now I noticed they sagged a bit. Then it hit me, I had shrunk in size a bit. I was about 5 maybe 5'1" if I was lucky. But I guess it was worth it especially for all the good thats come out, I can take a few bad things. I stared at myself for a minute admiring myself, I then remember again who I owes all this too.
"Thanks grandpa, for everything and everyone. I think I can be happy like this. I won't let you down." I smiled then hopped in to the bath. The water was perfect, but the pool was deep. I swam out and saw that the pool was twice the size I thought it was. There was a little island with shampoo and soap it seemed and it had a place I could sit and relax and jsut let my feet soak. The bath had to be at least 6 ft or more, but I was comfortable where I was for the moment. Suddenly I felt something in the water and I saw ripples coming from where I entered. There was to much steam to see, but before I knew I saw a wolf form in the steam.
"I hope my newest son is enjoying himself?" My jaw dropped as she appeared out of the steam, the water barely covering her breasts.
"Does my son want a little... ...help?" She asked as she moved closer and closer. The water depth didn't hinder her as she approached, the soap in the water hiding her breast from view. Her pure white fur gleamed in the water and shine like diamonds.
"M-m-mis Fenrir um I mean Lia" She placed her finger on my lips.
"No no just call me mom" I fell blood rush into my nose and I slipped off the island into the bath. She quickly grabbed me and hugged me in her bust.
"Now lets get you clean." She gave me a quick lick.
"O don't forget to wash your boy parts." she giggled as she reach into the water slowly down to my manhood. She stopped after we both heard a large splash.
"Don't forget about your Pops! Hoho the meetings over and I got drinks! Here ones for you too Zack, hoho! Welcome to the family!" he bellowed as he came blasting naked thru the water. That was enough for me as I screamed then pushed away from my mom and swam to the exit.
"What happened? I say something wrong?" Octus shrugged. Before I could get to the door and grab a towel the door opened up as Seras bursted in yelling for mom and dad. She stopped and both stared at each other as both are faces turned red.
After a battle to rid mom and dad from my shower I finally had my room to myself I put on a pair of pajamas that had a magic fit ability, which magic fitting rules by the way, and hope into bed. The lights were turned off, but the moonlight from both moons still shine thru the giant windows. I curled up in my giant pillow and was about to close my eyes when a large hand pulled me in. I was smushed into something big and furry as Ilooked up I saw Seras looking down at me.
"I'm here to make sure you sleep well tonight." She rubbed her face against mine and cuddled up closer. I gave up and just closed my eyes. I thought she would be like Nene or Mom, but no she just hugged. It seems that she really wants me help and not in a sexual way, I think. I guess she thought I had enough heart stopping moments tonight. Can't wait til tomorrow. God my family is weird haha.
"Seras?"
"Yes little brother?
"I love our family, thank you." I said with a few tears escaping. Seras felt a tear as well and pulled me in closer. To her I must have looked like a teddy bear, though she was the soft cuddly one. Her fur was better than the pillows and she instantly warmed me up.
"I love you sis"
"And I love you little brother. Your now part of the pack." And with that we both fell asleep, with wonderful dreams awaiting us.
