They do. Hasbro really isn't to blame, it's those parents who are too lazy to just tell their kid "You can't watch this" So they instead waste their time bitching to just get rid of the problem. I really dislike the current generation with how lazy and sensitive it is =/

I've never seen an episode of MLP, but... DERPY IS my favorite pony D: (I saw that exact same video like 12 hours ago)

She only had one speaking role, which people got offended by...

Well not so much saving, since she'll always exist one way or another. But the way they did it...sadness D:

Heartless bastards. Im serious. We get a show where the fans freaking NAME the character... And the creators give that some character that name to show their support and love for the fanbase, but for a few people who thought it was "offensive" put this in perspective... Do mentally handicapped and the mentally disabled actually act like that? No, they dont. We have several students like that in my school. They cant help it. But they dont go running into walls and knocking stuff over... People put too much into stereotyping others... Makes me sick.

As for Derpy... Yes, im sad at the loss of her name and voice... But the orig is apparently on the DvD and YouTube so we can watch that instead.

I actually feel a little sorry for Hasbro too. They went through the trouble and effort to give to the fans like this, only to have a couple lazy assholes with no lives ruin it.

If anything, they should have done a Derpy episode to show why being different isn't a bad thing. Would have been a great letter to Celestia D:

Prolly didnt wanna reapeat a lesson... "Bridle Gossip" Episode 9 Season 1 (theres the nerd in me ) I think said something similar. Course, they couldve adapted it to fit Derpy... I just hate when theres a few jackasses out there who like to ruin a wonderful thing.

Well the Zecora episode was more like "judging a book" sort of thing. They already know Derpy, know she's different, but that wouldn't have to mean it's a bad thing ^_^

I have not seen one episode of the new MLP. I want too but just haven't. This made me CRY! I have worked with disabled children and I can see so many of them saying this exact some thing! Physically crying here.

Which is why it's so pointless for these people complaining, because it makes it look like those who are like this need to be censored =/
