Behold, Kumamoto Castle tower! One of the most popular attractions in Kumamoto city, this is one impressive building if I do say so myself. The whole castle grounds is actually really pretty. Once you climb up the large stairs through the stone walls you come to this huge clearing where people dressed like Samurai walk about and there is this huge, awesome tower. I took this the night of the Mizuakari Matsuri, where I took photos of those lanterns.
