This was practise on a comic style I would like to break out. It's light, easy, flexible and swooshy, but it doesn't come across as all too cheap. Gives the eye just enough to ogle without having to digest tons of detail.

As for the actual character? Arest is dead. He's been dead a long time, but he's probably, one of the most important characters in the history of my own Metaverse that my characters stick to. Why? He's the father of Seross the big, red, bunny eared Lasparadis. No resemblance eh?

I'll give a short run down, Seross is a Lasparadis, nightmare elemental, Arest is a Cobalt, a dream elemental. The two elementals coexist doing their metaphysical dayjobs of bringing nightmares and dreams to mortals. Erith, Seross' mother is a Lasparadis, now it's uncommon, not unheard of for Cobalts and Lasparadis to pair off as couples. Rare for them to have children, and when they do, the Lasparadis is always the female and the Cobalt is always the male. Why? Lasparadis are naturally toxic on touch to Cobalts.

Arest literally committed suicide to give his dearest Erith a child. :D This is why he's dead, combine the selfless act with the mingling of nightmares and dreams, and you get Seross, as suspiciously entertainingly stupid, yet powerful character.
