You can ask the mazzelh. She've seen it (and caused it...) It's called a Defense curl (Or DC)...
I also curl up when i'm tired, in pain or ill...

i curl up when i sleep lol i usually take up maybe a fourth of my bed and its only a twin size

Twin size... Uhm... I have too many things in my bed, so i curl up too... Kai either sleeps that way, or laying on his stomach.. I think it is some kind of defense...
I can't, though... Apparently i can't breath while sleeping like that...
