Digital conbadge commission for
vitaislade
Again, got carried away on this one. The commissioner was very patient, so, it's well-deserved.
I am NOT taking badge commissions at this time, nor am I likely to in the future. Just finishing the ones in my queue.

I was anticipating someone would say this (because someone ALWAYS does), so this time, I'm'a set out to prove it to you. Tigers' faces vary, and some of them ARE longer than others. This is directly reffed and the proportions are gridded. Here is the original: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AYDT1kjnO.....6b7bc0aa7d.jpg
So, hoping that will put THAT debate to rest for awhile.

*Nods* A lot of artists that are used to drawing canines give tigers and other cats a muzzle, which is not the case here. You can see a proper slope given to Vitai's face, but a muzzle would have a clear drop-off and a definite L shape. I honestly love how the picture looks.
BTW, Rukis, is it possible for me to get the high-rez of this to my e-mail? I sent you my e-mail addy in my last note.

oh. you should have put that there before. I see that this one has a longer face, but then the tiger's/cat's faces are wider which kind of distracts from the 'longness' of it. When I look at that photo and your drawing, I see the longness only looks like that because the face in your pic is a bit thin, giving the illusion it is long
I think you're just not looking at it right. The shading may be throwing your perspective view from the drawing because I definitely see the roundness one would expect to see in a Tiger's face. Granted, there is also the fact the Tiger could have human-esque proportions, which she could have also utilized in the drawing.
haha maybe the shading is the illusion. I guess this isn't exactly realism anyway, or semi-realism at best. Personally, I kind of see a likeness with a wolf and a tiger, ofc to a degree. and in my eyes I see that most prominent here, that's all. I see the roundness around the cheeks, but it was the mouth/muzzle I was pointing at. Just looked thinner than usual here.
human/canine/feline esque proportions maybe. Ah well, anthro isn't conventional realism anyways. I just like to point things out, incase artist missed something or didn't notice something
