this is a closeup of the Moon and Venus it is a much clearer picture than the first 2 in the series. I'am still trying to calibrate my lion's Olympus camera settings.

I love astronomy! I'm a bit of a stargazer.

Sometimes, Jupiter will get REALLY bright and will just be so bright that it dims out other stars and planets. Jupiter and Venus can usually always be seen at night.

That's really cool. There seems to be not many of us on here, though.

Yup :) , it being the biggest planet kinda helps with that. It is also one of the few planets that eclipse their moons as it crosses into its shadow and it happens every few days or less than that.

Is this a instant digital or a full Digital SLR?

If it has any manual setting, try it at about f/2.4, at a 30th of a second. Then bracket around the f/ratio. That's one way to calibrate the exposure for astrophotography (least it worked when I was using roll film).
