Spare day, and I decided to actually finish my old character redesign of Akera for my currently on hiatus project Points of Reality.

Refined the changes I initially made, and relined and put some flat colours. I quite like how he looks now, no longer does he look like a weird mash of Japanese kimono in space.

Wasn't sure if the coat using the original blue colour would work but it turned out surprisingly well. Same goes for the other idea of black with blue highlights but I prefer this setup.

I also changed his name a little, mainly the surname from an Asian one to a western one to move away a little from clearly going for Japanese names to make him stand out. Akera Sandringham for the moment but who knows. That may change for something a little cooler.
