I know that most taurs have a redundant set of organs but you'd think they'd make armor that covers the larger ones.

Unconvincing armor.

That armor totally works...if you're in a head on fight. XD

Yeah...I'll give you that. In a riot situation you wouldn't turn your back on the crowd...but chaos happens and it's still possible for you to get your rump turned to a guy with a knife ready to stab you in a lower lung. I can't see where any organization would ever allow their assets to go in without protection that is adequate in even the most unlikely scenarios. After all...don't BP vests have armor in the back and on the sides as well?

Even outside of combat situations health codes would certainly not allow the pelvis to be exposed and my last employer (department store) made it VERY clear that I was NOT to wear shorts on the job. Then you have the "we don't want your blood and severed toes on our floor because you won't wear anything on your feet" problem.

Anyway...while I do find the concept irritating in and of itself, it's mostly just that I'm very, very disappointed that I can't find any good armor or clothing pics of taurs.

Agreed, there's very few clothing or accessory options for taurs, sadly. Part of why I adopted Madison when I saw her was because of the unique armor she wore. Even if it's not 100% realistic, I happen to like it. So while it seems you enjoy nitpicking at it, I enjoy it for what it is. ^^

Well, aesthetically speaking it /is/ attractive. I can definitely appreciate that.

As for options regarding clothing and accessories for taurs, if you mean ones that exist in the mainstream, yeah... but- ...Well, if only I had the skill... x_X;

but as they say you gear up to suit the battle. if underbelly threats (ap devices) better to save the vitals as legs are expendable. (and from :usersethrigs: story even had a stelarfoxtaur have a quad lim loss and eventually grew back in hospital.

but anyway's such beauty full markings oh her side :3 and that tail plate armour is amazing :D we need moor taurs in gear accurate or not be damn im sure we can figure it out :D

This is amazing! I first mistaken the outfit for SAS.
Though I do think someone would be able to create a full body outfit for Military/SWAT members.
