Casmer's Stuffed Mushrooms
Serves 4 people
Calories: not that much so enjoy.
For vegan version, don't use eggs, cheese, butter, or alfredo sauce.
Ingredients:
12 Mushrooms
1 Slice of bread
1/3 cup of Pistachios
1/4 onion
1 garlic clove
1 broccoli
1 egg (free range plz. I love chickens.)
1/4 Tomato, 1 small slice of avocado, some cheddar cheese
Extra virgin olive oil
Butter/margarine
Salt, Oregano, Pepper
Recipe:
-Prepare glass baking pan by rubbing it with olive oil or margarine.
-Preheat oven to 375F
-Heat small pan with extra virgin olive oil.
-Toast 1 slice of bread. Cut into pieces.
-In a blender, add pistachios, bread pieces, and 1 broccoli. Blend that shit.
-Dice/Mince onion and garlic. Simmer in pan.
-Clean and rinse your mushrooms. Remove the stems and chop 'til you drop.
-Place the buttons in the glass pan.
-Add chopped mushroom stems and blended bread to the pan. Stir evenly on medium heat for 8-10min.
-Mix egg in separate bowl. Add a pinch of oregano.
-((You don't need alfredo sauce, but I love alfredo sauce. Heat that shit up!))
THIS IS THE PART WHERE YOU MAKE IT LOOK FANCEH.
-Fill mushroom caps halfway with egg and the other half with alfredo sauce if you have any.
-Spoon dat stuffing in each cap. Top with cut tomato, avocado, cheddar cheese.
-Sprinkle with some salt, pepper, oregano, i don't give a ****.
-BAKE IT for 12-15min till it looks awesome and you can't wait to eat it anymore.
-Serve while hot and enjoy mofos!
Extra garnish was leftover ingredients that I added all together all artsy like.
I made this by gathering what I had and just going for it. I don't really know how you're supposed to cook, but this was delicious. And when you cut through the mushroom, you have like 3-4 layers of color.
