DfD: I'm mad as hell, and I'm NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!
I am SICK AND TIRED of being raped or otherwise molested by absolutely every male I meet! Seriously, I was violated by like, six guys on my way to this class! I swear, it's like random encounters in a Final Fantasy game. So I'm taking LESSONS on how to protect myself! A friend was waiting for me.
..... I actually *REALLY* love how this pic turned out. Incredibly dynamic poses, especially on Belle! Cookies to whoever gets the reference for their quotes.

<Unfortunate fact. Defending your self from a robber or rapist raises your chances of dieing in the encounter significantly. Trying to defend your self in said situation with a fire arm, your chances of death or critical injury raises to nearly 3x* that of victims who do not defend them selves. The moral here. You may be willing to kill over something that is important to you, but be sure it is important enough that you are willing to die for too, because that will likely be the result.>
<*Asterisk note: Multiples are deviant from Percentages. 3% is equal to 3 out of 100, formatted as a multiple, this would be portrayed as x1.03, or rather, your base line, increased by .03%, where as a multiple of x3 indicates a rise of 300%, so where as a 3%^ quantifies as 3 out of every 100 increase in probability, 3x^ quantifies as an increase of 300%, or 300 out of every 100. Be weary of dangers counted in percentages, avoid dangers counted in multiples at all cost>

Other studies show that carrying a projectile based tazer have similar effects, partly because people tend to overestimate their effectiveness because of the way they have been portrayed in the media and on the news.
I should note that I am not anti gun. My problem tends to be that people have elected to ignore the reasoning and responsibility behind the right, as it does not apply, by it's text, as a right to carry. The right, often quoted, but only partially, mandates first and formost that as a gun owner it is your duty to protect your home, your community, and your country, in the event of emergency or attack. It does not indicate we should all be carrying around assault rifles in populated areas.
