A request fer a prawn from District 9 all flated (or fattened) up.
The reason behind this prawn's size? See, the Capn' figures prawn guns cause humans to explode when they shoot them. This fellow had a backfire, but luckily his body is heartier then a humans and absorbed the impact, bloating it huge instead of bursting it like a water balloon.
He looks very surprised. Ol'Squeaks imagines he'll stay put fer awhile let things literally settle...

The requestee told the Capn' that he'd had it from many furs that insects can't be cute. Hopefully this disproves them some XD

Insects can be cute!
Actually, I don't know if you've heard of Mr. Plinkett, but the review for Avatar is most enlightening.
He said what I was already thinking. That the movie was manipulative and screwy.
But District 9... you really feel for the Prawn. They're ugly, but you feel honest empathy for them. The Na'vi though? They're just unbelievably 'perfect' and all that. You can't empathize with them because they're impossible.
The Prawn though... There's visceral honesty there.
