I was browsing for some I ideas for my upcoming '73 GT550T project and stumbled across this. I don't see much of them these days and I thought it would be a good reminder for those who lived back in the day, or for those who love motorcycles. This is the first flyer I came across by using the always handy 'Bing'.

They're not kidding, when they say "Built to take on the country".
I see more of these things that look like they've been chewed-up, swallowed, partially digested and spat-up, and *still run*, than any other make, save for *possibly* Yamaha... But those bloody things can't be had without taking out a second mortgage or selling a firstborn child into protstitution these days.
What's the project? Restoration?
Or more fun, a cafe? :D

My Suzuki is a old barn bike that my father's friend was using for a while. He parked it after an incident with another cycle, and it sat in the garage for about 17 years. I loaded it on the truck, brought it home, stuck the carbs back on, put in some gas, and it ran. It wasn't a very pretty sound, but it shocked the crap out of me to see it even turn over. I would say Suzuki would be the Timex of motorcycles. "Takes a lickin', and keeps on a tickin'
But no, the motorcycle is an Indy style. After the snow clears up and my father gets the parts bike in, we're gonna be up all night restoring it to 1,000,000,000% health again. And it won't be that ugly 70s lime green/faded gold color.
