So my boyfriend, Tyr, got me this great anniversary gift ^^ what I've wanted for some time now! A Poecilotheria Regalis aka Indian Ornamental! This is my first 'dangerous' spider. He or she is an old world species, so that means no urticating hairs. Not that it'll matter though because with this puppy is packing 'medically significant' venom. If it bites me, it's gonna hurt... a lot... for a few days... lol

Sure looks like they're burrowing now but that's what they do as a spiderling. Though as far as spiderlings go, this guy is the biggest of mine. Later on they'll chill nice and pretty up on the side of the enclosure as they are an arboreal species. Oh my god the pronoun antecedent agreement violations! :V

Oh yeah and his or her name is Fluffy. I think Tyr named it that as a joke and he said I could change it but I'm gonna keep it. That makes Artemis, Dalek Attelar, Copper, and Fluffy :3
