3 am is the perfect time for bords.
This is Kisten, my magpie. He's still a juvie, with blue-ish eyes, and pink in his mouth, and has a humeral fracture of his right wing that healed badly before he was caught and brought in. Because his wing dragged really badly and was getting all messy, I clipped the feathers off, hence it looking silly in his picture there.
He and my crow will be coming to live with me as soon as the weather turns.

Unfortunately for him, the bone healed in two separate pieces, and would require a complicated, expensive, and very risky re-break and 'bridge' for him to ever have a chance at flying again. He can't even hold his wing up in a normal position, which is why I clipped all the feathers off, since he was stepping on them by accident.
