So. I cannot get over every single little detail you put into this. It is so fucking amazing to see my characters drawn by you again. I totally remember the old pic of her you are talking about and I still love it ok. And just... to see her again by you omg I am being so gay I can't heeeelp it ;___; I am melting over here.
She looks so sweet and innocent, shy, nervous, awkward and sad all at one time. I don't know how it's possible but you did it... it's how I always wanted her to present herself. OK. HER EYES.Just. God so beautiful and big and vibrant. The fact that you chose to draw the Tool shirt with that Aenima eye on it is just genius ok. The way her eyes match it, the way that eye is so creepy while her's are so sweet... it creates this contrast that helps show that there's a dark side in her. The other thing that sticks out the most - THE FEETS! I could never draw them right! Little cute hand feet just omfg. And her poofy tail with the little bandage.... god I can't get over every single little thing. The fact she has a bandaid on her ear and toe, the rips in those adorable tights, the clip on the bandage to hold it onto her tail, all the little cuts and scratches and bruises, the hair clip, the earrings! I love how you did her ears so incredibly detailed - you can see the lining/ribbing of the inner ear underneath the fluff, the detail to the nose, texture to the fur, the delicate rips in the shirt that are barely holding it onto her.... I love that the shirt is so baggy hiding her little frame while she has those cute as hell tights that show off her little skinny lemur legs. The pose couldn't be more perfect, it captures the emotions you were going for so perfectly.... the way she has her hand over her chest, the way her toes are curling in some while she tugs on her shirt to hold it down since she's probably feeling all exposed and nervous.... her hair is so fucking perfect I LOVE how it's all bright purple now, it just jumps out and the purple and green all match her color scheme so well. GOD THAT TOOL SHIRT IS JUST LIKE THE REAL ONE holy fuck pfffffttttt. Her little nose and mouth and you got the markings perfect and the fur poking out the side of the rip of her shirt *explodes*

I love this. And I absolutely love the idea of her + said character. I cannot fucking wait to see him again and to see you draw them. I AM going to draw again, this is totally giving me the inspiration and drive because I want to draw your characters again like no one's business. I'm really glad you think I did okay with her! I was worried her pose with her tugging on her shirt might come off as too suggestive... I had in mind that she'd been lounging around in her room in a baggy tee (probably listening to music) and had to adjust her shirt before getting up to do something. the idea of delu swimming in huge worn in tees is so fitting to me, it seems like she'd feel more comfortable with her body mostly hidden? *3* and yes I originally thought of the aenima logo because it would match her green eyes, but then of course there's certain symbolism with it too. nothing gets past jolyn ;D

I'm happy you like how I did her hair ;_; I remembered it being black + purple but I was also using this picture as a way to test out some newish techniques for doing hair and fur and too much black wouldn't have let me work with the shading as much. I was thinking I'd do the headshot of her as part of that set 4u with black + purple, unless you like the all purple? I think she looks adorable either way, I'm excited to work more with her and my guy eee <3 you will hear from me soon OuO

I LOVE lemurs! Adorable little lemurs and their feets <3 only thing that gets me even more than a lemur is a bushbaby. They're cousins so no wonder they are both teh most precious things.. All the cute.

oh gosh thank you, her ears, face, and feeties were totally my favorite parts of this to work on! I agree, lemurs & family are adorable... this all started with me googling grey mouse lemurs because I'd never seen that specific subspecies before aside from silverwing's character and then I died of cute and couldn't help myself and ended up drawing a whole picture. XD

Ahh, they're so precious! Carlos is based off of a lesser bushbaby primarily, they look so cute they almost look fake, like a stuffed animal ;-; And they all have the BEST feet. Hand-feet ROCK.
