A painting for one of my art classes from years and years ago.
Assignment was to paint an "impossible" object underwater, so I did the Death Star in a fishbowl. My Teacher said it wasn't Impossible enough. Oh well. :P
It's Acrylic on Illustration board. I had a hells of a time painting all the reflections in the water. Done in my second year of uni.

Yeah, as
Lightflow mentioned below, she thought I could just have put a toy in a fishbowl. Maybe if I had changed it to the deathstar plus a starry night in the bowl...l so like it was the death star.. in space.. inside a fish bowl.. that would have been better?

That would be an epic fishbowl...
Not as impossible because it could be a model I'm guessing? As a mom I would have gone with a preschooler willingly going to bed, that seems pretty impossible these days...
Really though, as a Star Wars fan, this would be very very cool. :)

Ehh. Some people are just like that. I descided it wasn't worth fighting over and just asked the teacher for help on how to fix the pic. She gave me tips on how to paint the reflections of water on the bowl's various surfaces and I ended up getting decent marks for execution of skill, even if she didn't like the concept.
